    In my country the only available options are: (prices convereted to $)

    - Mi Box S 70$
    - Mi Stick 50$
    - Chromecast w/ Google TV 100$
    - Random Chinese boxes 30-50 $

    I believe a mi stick would be too underpowered for my taste since i like to tinker around with apps .
    Chromecast would be the best option but its too expensive here and ordering online would be even more expensive.
    Chinese boxes are not worth it

    All its left is mi box s but its from 2018? How long do you think it will last until its not supported anymore?
    Or should i just wait for chromecast price to drop?

    Problems with Showtime

    Curious is anyone else has had this problem. Signed up for Showtime and installed the app. Tried to watch a show and the 30 second ad for other programming plays but goes back to the Home Screen instead of playing the show. Tried it on multiple shows/movies. CS just said "that's odd" and offered no further assistance. This is on the Chromecast with Goggle TV.

    MI Stick Bluetooth headset

    It connects, but the sound is terrible with cracks and interruptions; tested 3 different ones

    Mi Box 4k info: It will not work with Sony Xperia L4 as hotspot

    I have tested my Mi Box 4k with several hotspots including mobile phones running Android 9 and 10, and it will find and connect to them. But it will neither find nor connect (if I try to type in the phone hotspot name manually) to my Sony Xperia L4 (Dual XQ-AD52), even if I turn off my phone hotspot security. I even tried another Sony Xperia L4 (identical), and Mi Box did not detect hotspot on that one either.

    My phone is running Android 9 and I just updated it with the latest security update. I have used it for several months as a hotspot with no issues for several devices other than Mi Box.

    (I tried to post this on the MiBox forum about 10 days ago, still waiting for moderator to respond)

    YouTubeTV Playback Error - Error Code: 7

    I have three GoogleTV devices. The new circle pucks.

    On two of the devices all is well, I can run anything. On the third I get a "Playback Error Error Code: 7" then with a random 12 character code that changes every time when trying to play anything live or "recorded" on YouTube TV.

    YouTube itself works fine and all the other streaming services work fine.

    I have checked updates, cleared cache, deleted anything but stock, rebooted, resigned in. Nothing works. There are only two devices working and no one else is logged into YTTV.

    any ideas? I've searched and all I see is what I have already tried.

    Apple TV plus on Android TV?

    Anyone get Apple TV plus working on Android TV that's not the chromecast with Google tv? I assume there is an apk out there but was looking for a specific version that works.

    All attempts to get it running on the shield have failed.

    YouTube app only playing certain videos, most just show black screen unless I cast them from YouTube app on phone.

    I've deleted cache etc, delete updates. Nothing works, only thing left I have is to do a factory reset on my tv although I rather not as all other streaming apps work and don't want to go through the whole setup again. Hoping someone here has better ideas.
