Cataclysm dark days ahead (CDDA) is simply the android game that give you true freedom and I am looking for something that's similar.

All I am asking for is a fleshed out sandbox world where you are just a nobody. A true sandbox experience where you are not special unless you work for it.

Using a wired controller with Android?

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 11:12 AM PST

I got a GameSir G4 Pro controller and while I'm loving it, the blue tooth on my phone is not particularly reliable. I found this male male cable and was wondering if it would work with my Honor 7x running Android 8

    Looking for a new time-sink

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 10:17 AM PST

    Hello guys.

I am looking for a new game that meets my requirements as the old one I played grew out on me.

    -Grinding for characters/equipment.

    -Has a collection aspect.

-Gameplay could be anything as long as it's not too complex.

-P2W is not a huge problem as long as F2P grind is not too impossible and can be kinda competitive.

    Games I've tried/heard:

-Marvel Contest of Champions (the "old game")

-Marvel Strike Force (almost what I'm looking for except it's p2w as hell as I've heard)

-Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes (the same case as MSF)

-Marvel Future Fight (too many game modes and content so that it becomes complex, but I can be convinced)

-Raid Shadow Legends (the same case as MFF)

    -AFK Arena (just, no...)

If you have a new game suggestion I would appreciate it a lot. If you have counterpoints or stuff about my list of games I would like to hear them too.

    Thank you a lot!

Does anyone know why my phone fully detects controllers in test apps but not in games?

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 09:10 AM PST

My phone completely detects both of my controllers (gamesir x2 and Xbox one) in gamepad testing apps but if I try to play a game the buttons either select or back out of the app. Any info is helpful! Thanks in advance!

Looking for help to find a game i saw in an ad

    Posted: 12 Mar 2021 09:50 PM PST

I saw a game in an ad that looked really interesting but forgot to screenshot and now I've forgotten the name. I'll list some things that i remember to see if anyone knows it

-it was a city builder/strategy game

-in the ad, multiple different building were being built, all with a distinctive red roof.

-it didn't had super realistic graphics, but they were in 3D

-in the ad, the city was on the right side, next to a big ocean that occupied most of the map. All of it was seen from an overhead view

-it had a 2 in the name lol

Hope this is enough to find the game, and i also hope this doesn't go against this subreddit rules. I didn't add a [Request] tag because I'm not looking for games that match what i want to play, I'm looking for a very specific game.

[Request] help finding a game I used to play

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 04:09 AM PST

    Dear AndroidGaming community!

I am trying desperately to find a game I uses to play. Searched everywhere but can not find it anymore.

It was a game somewhat similar to "heroism" - You moved by clicking somewhere on the screen - you enter different dungeons from the town you are in - each floor spawns ores to mine and with each lower floor you get better ores and the last floor had a big boss fight - tons of upgrades from pickaxes to torches - each higher dungeon required more of the in game currency to unlock - quests -progression - upgrades and equipment - artstyle was pixelated I believe - If I am not mistaken it had some sort of prestige system

I woukd be very happy if someone could tell me the name of the game.

    Thanks guys 😇

Looking for japanese RPG I used to play

    Posted: 13 Mar 2021 02:32 AM PST

    Hey,

I'm looking for an RPG I played way back. It was mostly a text based, turn based combat game (like Pokemon battle, in lack of a better example.) with a very dark theme. In the fight there was a picture of the monster you were fighting with a Black background. You would go up a floor after every win, and chose your next floor, where you could encounter other players, resting spots or bosses etc. You would progress your character, upgrading weapon/armor and combat skills and if you died you started over. When starting over I remember you could buy starting items and different classes to start as. Base class was a warrior type. Some of the game text was in japanese., and other than the fights the game was mostly white text on black background.

Sorry if the description is vague, but I appriciate any help as I've had no luck googling.
