- Anybody have any ideas as to why my camera keeps glitching like this? I've been having to take pictures with snapchat and export to camera roll to get good quality. Every time I've taken a picture with the "actual" camera lately it glitches like you see here.

I have a question . Ios has a really great feature where it will forward 100% of unknown calls aka callers not stored in your contacts to voice mail. In the phone app and settings I enabled "block unknown/private numbers " . Yet every unknown number and spam call still rings . Is this not a common feature in android yet after all these years ? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 11:34 AM PST Hey r/AndroidQuestions, I work with a company which provides specialized education interventions and we are currently having a huge influx of learners who are struggling with their traditional school education having moved mostly online due to Covid. In the past we had switched from paper and pencil to ipad and apple pencils for kids coming into our lab which cut down huge on paper and printer costs, but with our own services having moved mostly online as well, that is too costly a set up to loan out to parents for their kids to use online. I'm an android phone user myself so i'm familiar with the ecosystem but with my company using exclusively ipads the past few years i know next to nothing about android tablets. I would super appreciate any suggestions for tablets and styluses that will allow palm rejection and give as close to a paper and pen feeling for math and writing, while still being somewhat budget conscious. | Why is my settings app using so much battery? Posted: 23 Feb 2021 12:48 PM PST For whatever reason the system settings on my samsung galaxy note 10+ is responsible for most of my battery usage according to AccuBattery. my settings app has used 26% of my battery today and I've only used 34% total. | GPS location incorrect and varies from the right location to the wrong one Posted: 23 Feb 2021 10:10 AM PST I have an old Motorola G5 and am currently trying out a Motorola G8 Plus. The old G5 was really good with the GPS location but the G8 Plus is giving me problems. I'm swapping the same SIM card between the two phones to try this out. The G8 Plus sometimes puts the phone about half a mile from where it really is and consistently gets it wrong where the wrong place is always the same wrong location. Sometimes it will flip back to the correct location and I can force the phone to get it right by using the 'GPS Status & Toolbox' app to clear the GPS data - this immediately works ..... for a while, then it will randomly go back to the wrong location again. I've been trying all kinds of suggestions that I've found on google, for example the suggestions on this page: but with no luck at all. Any ideas please? This appears to be an issue with the brand new G8 Plus but what else can I try? [link] [comments] |

The video suddenly switched to small window (picture in picture mode) eventhough I didn't touch the phone. | Warning "Push service seems to be infected" Posted: 23 Feb 2021 07:03 AM PST Hello everyone. I have a Huawei Android smartphone and I have received this morning a message that reads "Push service seems to be infected. Immediate uninstallation is advised." (Well, my language settings are German but I believe this is the translation.) I clicked on "uninstall" but later I received the warning again. For now things seem to be alright but I am a bit worried. I also ran Avast antivirus app and it didn't find anything. I chatted with Huawei support and the guy there told me to do a hard reset which isn't a particularly helpful advise. I saw a recent post on r/Huawei having the same issue. Therefore, I would like to understand if the warning is correct or a recently introduced bug before I go on and do a hard reset. So I wanted to ask if other people had the same issue recently and how they fixed it. I am not quite sure if the problem is related to Huawei or to Android. | Android 8.1 on a handheld scanner - How to re-center Text Posted: 23 Feb 2021 06:33 AM PST This is going to be a challenging one, I think. I have a Zebra scanner with a touch screen running 8.1. The problem I am having is in a terminal emulator program called Velocity. The text on the screen is shifted down slightly so that the descender in a lowercase y or lowercase g cannot be seen. This makes the y look like a lowercase v and lowercase g or p look like lowercase o. Since I cannot screenshot this, the best way to see an example is in Excel. Where you have your option to shift your text within a cell left, right, or center, there's also the option shift the text up, down, or center. My text is shifted down. Within the Android OS, Text appears to be fine. Velocity is the only application installed. I only have two scanners running this application and one scanner is displaying fine. When I tab buildnumber 7 times it says: developer settings already activated. But it the developer settings doesnt show up in settings.

| Posted: 23 Feb 2021 04:38 AM PST Yesterday my phone was forced to do an update and since then everything has been off. The UI I can handle and adjust to, but the Picture-In-Picture window is now locked at the bottom of the screen and if I try moving it, it just goes away. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or is this just some bug? The device is a 10 and the carrier is T Mobile. I've already tried looking in settings, restarting, closing apps, etc but it stays in place even when I have the keyboard open. [link] [comments] |

Before the update I could only have 1080p, and now it tells me I can go up all the way to 2160p I'm pretty sure it's a glitch or something, and I'm clueless when it comes to phones, but I believe it's impossible for the phone to actually even go that high, there is no way the screen resolution can do that, either that, or I'm fucking stupid. https://photos.app.goo.gl/M5j5vY53sqyFAVZ57 [link] [comments] |
