I found this because i saw some ads without anything opened. I Installed some antivirus and it found a malware that i uninstalled. Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:36 AM PST I'm on a Galaxy S10+, I did a test today with some headphones (on the Samsung music player) and the sound isn't fully stereo, with one earbud in I can hear stuff I'm supposed to only hear in the other ear, just at a slightly lower volume. I stumbled upon this ROM recently, I flashed it but it seems that the touchscreen voltage is too low - I had terrible ghost touching (video). So, I'm wondering, is there any way to inject proper drivers into this ROM? My touchscreen is Focaltech ft5_ts, there is a .ko file named after it in my current system (drivers I suppose?). Would it be as simple as placing this driver into system dir in the rom package? [link] [comments] |
| Bixby keeps on interrupting my Spotify sessions Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:07 AM PST Hi Reddit. I own a Samsung Galaxy S8. Whenever I play a song on Spotify (via earphones), Bixby will continuously interrupt every 30 seconds. It will pause and play random songs on Spotify, it will inform me of the time, or some other random piece of information I don't care for. I don't like nor use Bixby. The microphone ding is activated, there is a pause (as happens when Bixby is actively listening to a command), and then the response. It seems my microphone might be a little sensitive, as it happens especially when my hand touches the microphone. I have tried uninstalling Spotify - didn't change anything. I have updated all the Bixby-related apps and attempted to deactivate all voice-related things in the Bixby app itself. At this point, I'm contemplating a full factory reset on my phone. | Posted: 05 Feb 2021 10:04 AM PST This last major update change the theme and a few other things around. One of them is the power saving option. It used to be pretty customizable and was very convenient. You could pick between 4 different power modes and even set your screens resolution. This was great because when I'm out and about, I don't need a 4k screen to look at Google maps, but it is nice when I am home using my phone. The only way to turn your screen to 4k was to set your phone to max performance mode. You can't do that anymore. In fact, I can't find an option to change my screens resolution anywhere. This leads me to belive that this phone I spent too much money on isn't using its 4k screen (the main reason I bought it). Another thing is that when you used to change the power mode, your phone would freeze for a moment while the changes were applied. It doesn't do that anymore so either they significantly streamlined the process or the changes aren't as big as they used to be. Is there any way to go back to the old power settings and how do I change my screens resolution now? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 05 Feb 2021 04:49 AM PST Growing tired of replacing screens and phones (and spending too much money on them) I switched to the Blackview rugged phone. It's tough, but I am stuck on a few things. I have had a pixel and several samsung phones, there are things I liked about both. Based on the pixel being pretty native android I assume there is a fix for the Blackview issues I am having. Apps just seem to shut down. Once they do I stop getting notifications. What's app, slack... However my messaging app (native android) never fails to send notifications and neither does facebook. I can find no difference in settings for any of these. They are all whitelisted so they don't get shut down to save battery. [link] [comments] |

I was thinking of creating a different gmail and sign in to Play Store to benefit from it by converting it to in-game currency for Roblox then transferring my purchase to my main account. I do not want to lock my region change on my phone for a full year. I would just like, if possible, to have two different gmails and thus Play Store accounts linked to different regions.
