For notifications, keyboard, or anything else. Then when I come back inside to the warm, it slowly comes back, with only very weak vibrations at first, then back to normal strength after about an hour. This seems like a hardware issue? | Denied access to "SD/Android/Data" folder Posted: 11 Jan 2021 12:04 PM PST My phone just recently updated to 11, and now I have no access to the "storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/com.android.chrome/files/Download" folder. It shows as empty or restricted access. Chrome has been downloading files to this folder since I got the phone, and now I'm locked out of those files. In fact, Chrome is still saving to this folder when I select to save to the SD card. Is there anyway that I can gain access to this folder and stop Chrome from saving to this folder? I want to connect to it while still being able to use data for internet access. Apparently this was possible in Android 8 and 9, but I'm using Android 10. | Posted: 11 Jan 2021 09:53 AM PST The reason why its an issue is that when i leave Blokada on when I leave my home wifi/switch to data, the internet is VERY slow and sometimes doesnt even work. I would prefer to just go off data without Blokada on. I know that I can just turn off blokada whenever i leave my home wifi, but its really easy to forget to do that, and I was wondering if anybody knew of a way for my phone to automatically turn blokada off whenever i leave my house. So I looked around for fixes I have turned off battery optimization and turned off adaptive notifications, but the apps still doesn't give me notifications. I borrowed someone else's phone of the same model to go through the bootloader to factory reset the phone. Google Find My Phone no longer finds the phone. However, I also already activated my number on my new phone, so I'm not sure if it's because I reset it successfully or not. I'm using an app that behaves differently when it is offline versus when there is internet connection. I prefer the functionality when it is offline. I'm trying to find a way to trick the app into thinking that there is no internet connection even when there is one. So far, I have tried to use a couple of firewalls and block the app from accessing the internet. However, the app seems to somehow detect the presence of these firewalls and does not behave as intended. My guess is that the firewalls do not work is because they utilize VPN technology. I also tried to use my regular VPN app, and the app misbehaves in the same manner when my VPN app is turned on (Even when not connected to any server). Any ideas on what can be a good solution? I was having an issue with downloaded dropbox pictures not showing (the right fix is to copy/paste into the same folder). One of the fixes I found suggested clearing the media data/cache I did that and It destroyed all my pictures... Unless I'm viewing the pictures through the file explorer or gallery they are all with the wrong thumbnails in instagram, whatsapp, and even on windows explorer. If I click on properties on windows it shows the wrong thumbnail in the thumbnail tab, but I can't delete it. Is there any fix other than taking screenshots from all the pictures and deleting the old pictures with wrong thumbnails? I'm using note 10+ one UI 2.5. [link] [comments] |

She wants the home screen to look as close to her old phone as possible. I live 3hr away so I can't go set it up for her. Is there an app that will mirror her phone to my computer and allow me to control it and set it up for her the way she wants? I dropped my phone a couple of weeks ago and have since replaced it with a new phone/transferred the SIM card. While I had my old phone (Google Pixel 2) plugged in, it must've auto-updated itself and now I keep getting this screen: https://i.imgur.com/NY0yHOr.jpg When I google the problem, I find a lot of links talking about a lot of stuff that I honestly don't understand. I'm fairly tech literate, in that I can troubleshoot and follow instructions that I find on google, but that's about it. I've tried selecting "try again", but am always led back to this screen. Unfortunately, after step 4, I just got the same "can't load android system" screen. Recovery never loaded, there was no "wipe cache partition" option. The options listed are:

| Emulating or Spoofing an SD Card Posted: 11 Jan 2021 04:59 AM PST I made a post yesterday enquiring about how to potentially use Dropsync to synchronise folders which are usually inaccessible, such as the data folder, by rooting my phone as a workaround. I believe my only alternative to this is to sync application data that's instead stored on an SD Card. I use a Pixel 4a and henceforth do not have expandable storage. Is there a way, without rooting, to spoof an SD card in my internal storage with which I can move applications so they can then be accessible through standard file explorers?
