    I live in France and when searching for Google Duo on the play store for Android TV it doesn't appear as an available app to download. Any ideas?

    Recommendations for live world webcams app

    My partner is pretty much confined to the the living room for six weeks with an ankle injury and I'm looking for a way to bring the world to him. Can anyone recommend an app available for Android TV that displays live webcam feeds from around the world? I've tried EarthCamTV but it seems to expect me to have a remote control with an awful lot more buttons on it than the Chromecast WGTV actually has in order to navigate easily...

    Want to change t-channel button to open some other app on tcl tv

    I am trying to change the T shaped T-channel button on my tcl remote using button mapper , but every time I try to select the button by clicking it opens the t channel app instead .

    Any possible way ? To do it , for example trying to make it open crunchy roll .

    Prime video on non supported android tv

    Hello Friends, I thought to share you my successful attempt to run prime video new app on my thomson tv which is not a certified device by Amazon. I have followed below steps and I am using latest version of prime video in my android tv. I am not sure whether all the steps required or not but mentioning here

    1) downloaded amazon prime video version apk for shield tv, sideloaded and registered using my Amazon account 2) Downloaded the latest prime video app from this channel 3) installed Apk editor pro 4) select the prime video apk in apk editor pro and changed the package name to Com.amazon.amazonvideo.livingroom1 5) install the modified prime video apk 6) open amd register your device using prime credentials 7) open the app... Hurray.. It works

    You can delete the Amazon video ( nvidia shield ) app if you want

    I want to be able to install apps from google play store (streaming apps) mainly and want to have a tv box that can download all the apps on the store as using an ANdroid phone ( any tv boxes offering this service?) Thanks

    Surfshark help!

    Hey gang, So I just bought a new Sony Bravia android tv and set up surfshark. We were trying to watch Aussie Netflix and it kept popping up that we couldn't watch titles since they weren't available in our area, despite having our vpn set to Australia and restarting the Netflix app. Can someone give me some tips to try and get this thing to work? I'm super bad with tech so anything would be helpful and thanks in advance!!!

    What "smart"-dongle should I buy for my TV?

    I just bought a Philips 58PUS7855 with Saphi OS. I don't really watch that much TV so I didn't care to spend extra for Android TV, but I do want to purchase an additional dongle to turn TV into something better, mostly for streaming from PC but also better app support.

    I am completely new to whole smart TV thing, so I am not sure what dongle to buy. What I can see, the two most popular choices are Chromecast 4 and Xiaomi Mi Box, what's the difference? Or are there some other alternative to the two?

    I'm looking to be able to easily stream whatever from my PC, both desktop and media, have a decent selection of apps to compensate for TV's poor OS. I would also like to stream games to TV if possible, is that manageable on the new Chromecast/Mi Box or input lag is still too big and I need a cable or something else?

    Looking for an app to screen record at 1080p 60fps, 40Mbps bitrate and internal audio

    There is an app called Screen Recorder (it needs to be sideloaded) but it doesn't record internal audio, it only records audio if you use a mic.

    Then there are sever apps (including Nvidia Share) that can record internal audio with 1080p 60fps video but with very low bitrate.

    If someone know an app that can do all what I mentioned in the tiltle please let me know :)

    Is There a Way to force Close Spotify?

    So I tried voice searching for a movie, and for whatever reason, google TV just started playing some song off Spotify (I don't even have the Spotify app installed, wtf?) and now I can't "stop" the app. I can pause the music, but no matter what I do, it says that it's always playing (so when screensaver comes on, it shows the icon of the song in the bottom left, which is bad for my OLED as it will create burn-in).

    I think the song also seems to be stopping screensaver from coming on altogether, which with an OLED LG C8, really really worries me.

    If I can't figure this out, I will need to go back to webOS :(

    Hi! Im looking for a video player app with subtitles opacity settings. I'd like semi transparent subtitles like on Netflix. The white/grey of Kodi is too bright for me :/

    Intermittent sound issue with new TCL Android TV

    I recently purchased a 65in TCL Android TV, and it seems to have an audio processing issue. Randomly the sound will cut out for less than a second. It happens with audio primarily coming out of the tv as well as with audio going to a soundbar via optical. Anyone ever come across this type of issue?

    setup wifi on Philips 32pfs6402/12 without remote?

    hello there and happy holidays! :)

    the remote for my Philips 32pfs6402/12 sadly broke in an accident and i can't get a new one over the holidays (germany)

    i now wanted to use my phone as a remote but apparently that requires both the tv and my phone to be connected to the same wifi

    sadly my tv has not been connected to the wifi in this house here before

    i have discovered one [1] button on the backside of my tv that works like a tiny joystick basically but with that i only seem to be able to access very limited menu functions and NO wifi

    question: is there a way to setup wifi on a Philips 32pfs6402/12 without a remote?

    Please Help! YouTube homepage on CCWGTV empty. Reinstalling and rebooting doesn't help. Works fine in guest mode.

    I don't really know how these things work so excuse my ignorance. If you use a TV box with your smart TV, is your screen just projected and all the CPU work is coming from box? I have a slow smart TV with roku built in and want to try Android but wondering if android TV box would be faster than buying another TV with android built in. I'm trying to find a solution on improving lag and freezing while scrolling and loading apps.

    Unable to sign into the Smart YouTube app

    I just installed the Smart YouTube app. When I tried to login, it gave me the code to activate. The problem is it will goto sign in fail after 2 seconds or so. 2 seconds is not enough for me to enter the code in my computer and click to select which account and allow, etc. Does anyone know what the issue is? Thanks!

    I can't connect my hisense Android TV to my wpa2 enterprise acess point

    Hi whenever I select my wpa2 enterprise acess point from my tvs wifi menu, it brings up a password prompt instead of the usual username and password prompt that happens on my android phone. Does anyone know how to fix this?
