| Fingerprint scanner brightness Posted: 28 Dec 2020 05:40 AM PST I have a Samsung Galaxy s20 FE When enabled the fingerprint scanner lights up so much Its annoying at night when i enable the blue light filter and it instead of lighting up yellowish it lights up white. Ive tried changing themes, and checking the settings but no help, any advice? [link] [comments] |

I have been using my Nvidia shield tablet as a family photo and video collection, sadly about a year ago it would not for the life of me let me charge it and therefore I presumed it was just dead. I have managed to get it to charge now and I could finally start it up, all of the old apps and account stuff is still there but photos and videos are all gone, is there anyway I could get them back? I already tried some recovery apps but none of them find the pics/videos.. Is there anything I could try? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] |

| No audio on snapchat videos from Camera roll Posted: 28 Dec 2020 10:54 AM PST There is no audio whatsoever when I send videos from my camera roll, into a chat. literally nobody can hear audio. Only a very few selection of videos actually do have audio. I am on a Oneplus 8 and have been having this problem for a significant amount of time, I reported this bug already, no updates have fixed this in the last 5. Posted: 28 Dec 2020 06:46 AM PST I'm in a few quite chatty groups on both Messenger and Instagram and my phone literally explodes once more than 3 people start sending messages all at once. I remember on my S7 if more than 3-4 messages were sent from the same chat it would stop vibrating and would just display a notification and after a while would vibrate again if it were to receive a new mesaage. | Posted: 28 Dec 2020 09:20 AM PST I'm curious if there is a way to force a system restart through my computer? I have an Asus ROG Phone with AT&T. On the 26th about midday, my phone froze while I was playing a game. I powered off the screen and then the screen would not power back on. Decided to reset the phone by holding down the power button. When I turned it back on, the screen came up as essentially color vomit. Looks like tiny lines of pixels made up mostly of pink and purple. The screen is responsive to my touch and I can enter my pattern. I let my phone's battery die off and after doing so, I plugged it in. Phone's screen came up with an error and said if it happens again to do a system restart or try to start the phone. Thought it was working, so I started the phone. Phone worked for a few hours and then I went to sleep. When I woke up, phone appeared to be working. Few minutes later, the screen froze again. Turned the phone off and back on. Same color vomit. Great. Fully charged phone and gotta wait for it to die again. Messed with it a few times after and somehow the screen started working again to give me the same error message. Opened the phone again and it worked. Downloaded my phone's info and did a system restart through the settings app. Everything went normal and my info was erased. Started the process of setting up my phone again, connected my Google account, created a pattern, and then during set up the screen froze again. Turned phone off and back on and color vomit again. Now I'm on today and letting my battery die is not working. No matter what I do, I cannot access the same error to do a restart and cannot enter the boot menu. Power+Volume Up or Power+Volume Down gives me nothing. I've downloaded Android Studio to use the SDK Manager, but can't figure out how to access SDK Manager. My phone has never been set to allow Debug Mode, so I'm not even sure if that would help. Around June or July I had dropped my phone and cracked the screen and had that repaired. It has worked like normal until now. I am unsure if this is a system error or a screen error. At this point, I don't know which I would prefer. | Poor battery life but battery last forever on battery saver. What's using my battery? Posted: 27 Dec 2020 02:01 PM PST I've got a Moto E6 running Android 9. I've been working at home since March and lately I noticed my phone battery going from 100% to about 35% by the end of the day without using the phone much and not leaving the house. Last week I turned on and left on battery saver. My battery is lasting a lot longer with usually 65%-70% remaining. I used my phone a fair bit today and made a trip to a friend's house and my battery is still at 75%. I tried figuring out what might be using my battery before using battery saver by looking at the stock battery usage in settings. It did list the usage by the apps but when adding up the percentages it never accounted for everything. I can only assume that SOMETHING is using up a lot of resources in the background and battery saver is preventing this from happening. I'd like to figure out what that is so I can eliminate it so I don't have to use battery saver all the time. I do not have root. Can anyone suggest ways to find out what's going on? | Instagram: keyboard covers the text field while editing a post caption Posted: 27 Dec 2020 11:54 PM PST Hi there. I've found this issue mentioned several times but no definitive answer. I'm using a Huawei. If I want to edit a photo caption, my keyboard covers the text field, so I can't see what I'm typing. This happens only in caption edit mode; posting and DMs work without issues. I've read a few times that it's somehow related to navigation buttons, but that's not the case for me. First, I don't even normally use navigation buttons, I use Huawei's gestures. But I tried enabling navigation buttons, and this didn't change anything, so perhaps this is an LG-specific solution. With Instagram for whatever reason not allowing edit posts from the browser, I'm stumped. Is there really no proper way to do this? [link] [comments] |
