Congratulations to u/digmotmag for winning the September contest with their The Haunting of Anne Droid setup. Your theme will be displayed in our banner throughout October, and will be added to our Hall of Fame.

    Let there be light!

For this contest, we want you to take an anti-amoled approach! Use pure white or otherwise bright colors. Don't use #000000 at all!

These rules apply specifically to this month's contest:

    1. Your theme may contain NO PURE BLACK. This month we want to see bright creations!
    2. Your theme must have mostly bright colors, pure white or otherwise.

    General contest rules:

    1. Your submission must be a separate post and tagged as [Contest].

    2. The theme must be your creation. No modifying existing theme files.

    3. Your submission must be a newly made theme, you can't post something you've already shared someplace else.

    4. You must not collaborate or ask for feedback during the making of your setup. Your contest submission needs to be your own work only.

    5. You are allowed only one submission.

    6. You are expected to share all resources related to the submission except those that you've made yourself, those are optional.

The winner will be announced on December 1st, 2020. Winning submission will be displayed in the subreddit banner for the duration of the next contest. It will also be added to our Hall of Fame.

[Help] Looking for dashboard style widgets (nothing custom)

    Posted: 01 Nov 2020 04:16 PM PST

So with all of this covid garbage going on I have been working from home since Feb. While working from home I have to have good music playing. I have a decent sound bar with Bluetooth that is really nice to stream my music on. Not too long ago I got the bright idea to use my Lenovo Yoga book to serve as a sort of dashboard to put on my desk. I have a few widgets for music players and for weather but I need to fill the rest of the space. I know there is the custom widget maker, but the last time I tried to build one I got frustrated (I am not good at that kind of stuff).

    Technical Info -

    Lenovo Yoga Book YB1-X90F

    Android Version 7.1.1 (not upgrade-able)

    Current Widgets on Screen -

    DI.FM (Music Streaming)

    D-Sub (Network Music player)

    Google Search Bar

    My Radar Weather

What I am looking to add -

Live (something that changes automatically) updating News feed (preferably world headlines with as little bias as possible)

Anything else that looks cool. I like one of the widgets offered by My Radar because of the color scheme and design, but I am not opposed to other ideas.

tldr; Need cool non custom widgets for a tablet that sits on my desk.
