Configuring 10 devices should be that hard, but lets say you are a company with 400 new android devices that need to be configured in a particular way, with particular apps and various specific settings. I'm playing SoTN and the bluetooth connection is garbage. Button lag, stuck input, short input. It just ruins the controller experience. | Worried about my new phone's battery Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:49 AM PDT Got this new smartphone yesterday called oppo a53. While using it I kinda noticed it's battery is depleting quick so I decided to test it. I charged the phone upto 95% and used it until it's battery reached 26% I used mobile data and mainly surfed internet and reddit thorough boost app. Here are the screenshots of battery settings- https://ibb.co/nRbnFkN https://ibb.co/rwLQWMW https://ibb.co/zH2zsLJ And as you can see, 70% battery power of 5000mah = 9 hr 17 minute screen time. But what I didn't tell you is that before doing this test, I disabled background AND foreground data usage of EVERY app. I disabled location/gps, wifi, Bluetooth etc I switched on power saver mode and dark mode. I replaced the wallpaper with black screen. I installed passive app hibernating app like greenify and actively force stopped every app by using CCleaner. Heck I didn't even played any games. Shouldn't a 5000mah last way longer after disabling so many services and enabling so much battery optimization settings? Is it normal? Or there's as problem with this phone? | My phone (Samsung A21s) keeps shuffling letters around after typing a word? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:04 AM PDT For some reason, my phone randomly shuffles the letters of a word around when I press the space button. Not always, probably only 1 in 200 words, but it's really frustrating, for example I'll type "phonics" and when I press space it will shuffle it to "pnichos" or something. I swear I'm not crazy or typing too quickly, I've seen the words change and my partner has seen it happen as well, honestly no idea why? This phone is only a month old too [link] [comments] |
| Galaxy A20 persistent black screen? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:01 AM PDT I have a Galaxy A20 and the screen keeps going black. Sound and vibration still work so it's not shutting down, but I haven't found any way to get the screen back on other than a forced restart. I even went so far as to reset the phone, but the problem keeps coming back, sometimes multiple times a day. The phone hasn't fallen or gotten wet so I don't know what could have cause this. Seems unlikely to be a hardware problem since a loose cable or something similar would probably show other symptoms. Anyone know how to fix this? [link] [comments] |
| Galaxy S8+ pseudo-dropping charge? Posted: 30 Oct 2020 11:01 AM PDT My S8+ sometimes does something weird. Semi-rarely my phone will shut itself off without warning. Trying to turn it back on will display that it's battery is dead. Since I almost always keep it charged, this is baffling to me. It will display 100% while charging, then act like it's dead three minutes later. Weirdly enough, if I plug my phone back in, after about five minutes of charging from 0% it will suddenly act like it's at ~90% battery and start topping it off from there. (On one occasion, turning it on multiple times over the course of a handful of minutes at the grocery store also resulting in it "correcting itself" and showing a battery level much higher than 0%, completely away from a charger). Cause at first it'll let me read just fine, but as I'm reading this will randomly happen now as of like a month ago. It seemed to have started I think eversince I accidentally clicked an ad one time when my webpage jumped from point a to point b suddenly and had me hovered over an ad which caused me to click it by accident. So lets say im connected to my wifi and i receive 3 messages on messanger and one on whatsapp and then i reply to them. Then when i leave the wifi area and connect to LTE i receive those messages again on my notifications even if i delete the conversation. Has anyone had this issue before? | Posted: 30 Oct 2020 02:38 AM PDT So this morning I woke up to the sound of an Arabic Billie eilish playing on my phone randomly and every corner of my phone app space has been filled with a shortcut to a remixed Arabic Billie eilish song instead. This sounds outrageous and I haven't downloaded anything fishy onto my phone so it randomly did it. I've deleted the song from my phone as of now and deleted some of the shortcuts on the phone to it but there are still shortcuts there. Unsure what to do. I've gone into nearly everything in the device to see the when it downloaded it but can't find it. I am tired of the texts asking about candidates, voting, etc. I have a Samsung s20 (Vzw, using default messaging app) and I am about as phone savvy as my parents 60+... I know, just get a jitterbug. I am currently using Xiaomi Redmi K20 , and it's working just fine, but I feel like to clear everything and start a-new.
