| How To Listen To Audio From A Video With The Screen Off Posted: 18 Oct 2020 08:38 AM PDT MOTO G6 PLAY I used to be able to play a YT video, but turn the screen off. I want to be able to do that again! I could do this by playing the YT video, then pressing the 'square' virtual button located at the lower right of the screen. This would cause the video to play, but as a smaller 'picture in picture.' If I then tapped this 'picture in picture' mini video, it would get slightly larger, and display a few icons over the little video. One of those was an icon of earphones. If you tapped the earphone icon...not sure exactly what used to happen, but it would basically hide the video but it would continue to play. Then I could turn the screen off and the video would still play. Then when you turned the screen back on, there would be a box that would let you pause/play/forward/back on that video, along with your other notifications like you got a text, you have an upcoming alarm etc. This was important because if the screen is on with the video playing, then any little bump against the screen will register as an intentional input and turn the video off, and start doing whatever it it is that got pressed on the screen. I lost the ability to do this when two things happened close together in time... 1] I did something wrong and erased the native search bar. When I got the phone it had a little bar in the middle of the screen you would enter searches into. Never really thought about it until I swiped it the wrong way or tried to move it around and tben it was gone! I got another one from Chrome, I think, but it looks and acts different. it's like it's not integrated with the rest of the phone in the same way that the old one was. Also after I lost my original search bar, I lost the ability to play the videos as described. If you know how to bring this superior integrated search bar back that would be cool. 2] We stopped subscribing to Google Play around this time, also Google Play stopped existing the same way or something, not quite sure. Could it have been a benefit of Google Play? Posted: 17 Oct 2020 11:45 PM PDT Situation: trying tot degoogle on oneplus 6 running Los for microg and magisk +magiskhide yet safetynet test fails both basicintegrity and cts. What do i need to do pass both? Edit: turns out i did not notice it was a api error wich i fixed with droid gaurd. yet both basic integrity and cts fail but at least it runs! after that i hid all microg stuff but the droid gaurd helper wont hide, it resets itself as unhidden. how come? because i suspect thats one of the things that signals root to google. Addit:i read in the magisk module: microg installer revivied (wichh i dont need as i have microg built in and everything checked, but the info in its description is usufull) that droidgaurd needs to be installed as an system app. how do i do that ? | Update xz2c to latest Android firmware? Posted: 18 Oct 2020 10:18 AM PDT I have been waiting for official LineageOS support for my Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact for years - finally, it's out now! But the Installation instructions warn that I have to " ensure that the device is on the latest Android 10 firmware" before proceeding. But no remarks whatsoever on how to obtain this. My bootloader is unlocked and I run rooted stock 52.0.A.8.50 firmware (with Magisk installed) so I cannot use Sony PC Companion, and other methods using Xperifirm seem very risky to me. Is it really necessary to upgrade to Stock Android 10? Can someone give a link to a really working instruction? Any help would be very appreciated. [link] [comments] |

I've had my Pixel 3 since launch, and I've used it a lot, including installing Google Apps from other Pixel releases, etc. I am considering wiping it and flashing the latest Android 11 Factory Image to get a "fresh" install once again, and wondering what benefits it might afford me. Obviously, it will remove a lot of apps I've installed and lost track of over time (some Go apps, etc.) and will give me a clean experience, but I'm also curious how it'll affect the original provided apps. I have a mother with a Nokia running Android One with 16GB of internal storage, so I added a SD card formatted as internal storage. Everything should be on there, except it says that there is still 2GB's of photo's on the internal storage. The problem is that sometimes the notification shade just doesn't pull down no matter how many times I swipe down, which means I have to press the power button to lock the phone, and then wake it up again, and then it does work, until it doesn't again. Posted: 18 Oct 2020 07:29 AM PDT Just got a new A51 and it's really bugging me that the app drawer is either completely unordered or alphabetical. My old Xperia Z3 had the option to sort based on frequency of use (i.e. most frequently used app would appear first, then second and it would dynamically reorder them over time based on use history). I've switched over to Nova already but that still sorts alphabetically besides giving the option for locking frequently used apps to the top row. [link] [comments] |

While browsing Tiktok the other day i found this vidéo : And i got soo very jealous cause there is none of that for my fold! So i spend my whole sunday creating my own ! Based on a DS and mario Bros and i'm rather proud of the result. Can I disable the feature to block calls or set it up so that it requires a password to block numbers or can I at least set it up so that I receive a notification when a call is blocked? When I upgraded my android they stopped working (didn't change device). Screen recording works but no sound. Happens on phone calls, whatsapp, instagram and I imagine other apps as well. I would like to connect it to a TV and watch football on it, while i still can use my phone to surf, read, flame my fantasy opponent 😁. | Posted: 18 Oct 2020 10:30 AM PDT Got banned off an app out of the blue and can't even make a new account since they ban every new one before I can even finish setting it up, tried contacting them, tried switching WiFi, tried vpns, tried downloading and reinstalling the app, still no luck. I know they banned my device (p30), but I don't know how. Luckily, I have an old s6 edge I don't use often, and I downloaded the app again (using my phones data) and successfully made an account, only problem is I'm scared it might happen again, and I'm paranoid to even switch to my houses WiFi again since I don't know if they have it blacklisted or something. I feel like theres a way to circumvent device bans but I don't really know where to start, and I don't want to waste time rooting/resetting my whole phone if I don't need to, although I feel like I'll probably end up doing so. Does anyone have any insight into how device bans usually work and how they can be circumvented? Also, any forums dedicated to this kind of thing? All help is appreciated, tia [link] [comments] |
