Genshin Impact becomes the 2nd top-grossing mobile game globally in the launch week by earning a massive $60 Million

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 11:12 AM PDT

Genshin Impact has generated a whopping amount of $6o million within a week of its launch, making it the second-best grossing game in the world right now. The game is published by Chinese publishers, miHoYo, who are well known for developing gacha games. Genshin Impact got immense popularity even before its launch week on September 28, with 5.3 million pre-registration from outside of China and a record number of stream viewers on Twitch on its launch day.

Usually, gacha based games aren't that successful due to being less popular in the western market, but that is what Genshin Impact has overcome, the game managed to successfully nab the western market. The majority of the revenue was from outside of China, i.e., from Japan and the US, making it a massive hit. You can read more about the news here

[REQUEST] Games With Unique Concept like Lapse and A.I Dungeon

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 03:59 AM PDT

Hello Friends. I am Looking for a Game whose concept is very different from Other Games. When I started playing both Lapse and A.I Dungeon it felt like a Breath of Fresh Air.

Lapse always makes me play more because it's so frustrating. The choices have a huge impact on what happens further.

So Please Recommend Some Games that are similar to the ones I mentioned.

I don't spend much time on the Internet so Please Try to Recommend Offline Games in such Category.

Does Grid Autosport have things to unlock and gain as you play through or it is all unlocked from the start?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 10:46 AM PDT

I've been looking at Grid Autosport for a while now and I'm wondering if you have to gain money or levels as you play to open up or buy new cars or tracks or whatnot?

    Thanks!

    Wintermaul clones?

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 05:02 PM PDT

Wintermaul was my favorite mod for Warcraft and I've been looking for a TD with similar dynamics. Uniquely Wintermaul had a few features I haven't been able to find in the TD genre.

    • co-op - the fact that it was co-op by default with admittingly terrible CPUs forced creativity
    • linear progression - I actually enjoy a single map layout and the creativity is constantly evolving your base and layout

    Any ideas? I appreciate it!

    Looking for Beta testers

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 02:43 PM PDT

Hi everyone! Hopefully this type of post is allowed, apologies if not. My housemate and I recently released a game on iOS and we have now ported it to android.

We were lucky to find r/TestFlight which gave us a bunch of testers for iOS but could not find something similar for android.

If anyone knows where to look, or, would like to help us beta test our app we would really appreciate it!

    Many thanks!

New to android games. What are the best games?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 01:50 PM PDT

    Hi!

I've done some research, but with all theses sponsorship and paid article, it's really hard to find some trustworthy reviews about mobile game.

I have a galaxy tab s4, and i'll have a 6/8 hours hair transplant on saturday. I've never played any mobile game.
What do you recommand me to past theses longs hours?

I don't mind buying a game, what would be the 'must-have' mobile game to play on android?
On a side note, I cannot install TFT, since my device is incompatible(?) and haven't find any solutions :/

    Thanks you ! :)

    Time killer games?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 10:36 AM PDT

My current job requires a lot of sitting on a chair and doing nothing for some time so I'm looking for a game I can play during these times. Also would be great if I can just close it and just open it back up to continue playing. Price doesn't matter as long as it's worth it.

    Any recommendations?

I was convinced that buying an iPega PG-9087s and using the Shooting plus V3 app with my Pixel 2xl would work well based on reviews I watched. I'm able to keymap the SNES9X app and THAT'S IT. What the hell am I doing wrong?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 09:55 AM PDT

EDIT: I'm trying from scratch on my son's tablet, having the opportunity to use a factory-reset-device since he never used it for anything important now that he's got his own phone. Definitely got his permission first though! Will report back if the results are any different than with my Pixel 2xl. I'm hopeful!

I've looked for this answer on youtube, on iPega's site, and through Google to see if the app is the problem and I just can't get a straight answer on a solution or workaround. I've rooted my phone, enabled write settings, given every permission my phone is capable of giving to both the device AND the app. I've watched DOZENS of videos over the last two weeks of mostly ONLY watching YouTube videos and looking at forums to see what it is that I'm failing to understand and I can't find a single straight answer that solves the problem of "do X and then Y will work".

Does that answer just not exist? I figured I would be okay because the pixel 2xl is the closest thing to a unilaterally compatible Android device, right? It's made by the same company that MADE android so why wouldn't it work?

If anyone has any kind of insight I'm all ears, very disappointed, and really wishing I could just get a refund.

What games would you recommend for a tablet?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2020 07:06 AM PDT

I've got Icewind Dale, The Bards Tale, KOTOR.

Tablet gaming feels a bit different from phone gaming. I feel like more PC style ports work better on tablet than the phone targeted games.

Are there other recommendations that you'd make for games on a tablet?

I have a keyboard and mouse as well if that opens up the options a bit.

Browser strategy game based on Google Maps

    Posted: 06 Oct 2020 08:21 PM PDT

Again, about Cities wars (https://www.citieswar.com/login) but not for Anzac, but Albion. Cities War is a game based on Google Maps, using real life cities which you attack and defend. You create friendships with other alliances and go to war with others. You will also be managing resources between oil, food, steel, rare, uranium and gold. Cities war is constantly getting new updates and improving the experience for the players. The Developer u/willyBBBC runs cities and also listens and replies to everything he can. Albion is a good fit as we have some of the best leaders, and alliances behind us, we have a great community and good plans for the future. In Albion you will learn fast and we have no problems answering your questions. Albion is based in the British Isles.
