Xiaomi Mi Box Audio Stuttering, please help!! Posted: 30 Sep 2020 03:49 AM PDT Hello, not exactly sure if this is the place for it but I'll cut to the chase. So, a few months ago I bought a new mi box, it works fine and there's no problems except for all audio always stuttering, like almost every second. I've tried using another box from a different brand with the same tv and same HDMI, same ports and all, no problems what so ever. Yet with the Mi Box, I tried using a different TV, a different HDMI cable, different ports, turn HDMI CEC on/off, factory reset... none of those changed anything. Can anyone please help me out here? Thanks in advance 🤗 [link] [comments]

Apps Only Mode on New Chromecast Posted: 30 Sep 2020 08:25 AM PDT One thing I haven't seen talked about with the new Chromecast is you can disable all of the recommendations by enabling "Apps only mode". It does still show one banner at the top but all of the other tabs and recommendations are removed. [link] [comments]

Auto connect to bluetooth speakers Posted: 30 Sep 2020 02:00 AM PDT Hi! I just bought a MiTV 4S. I have a B&O Beoplay S3 speaker that works with Bluetooth. I can pair them with the TV without any problem and they work well, until I turn off the TV. When I turn it on again, they appear as paired but they won´t work, and there´s no option to connect to a paired device. Am I missing something here? I can´t find any solution or people asking this problem. Is there any solution? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:42 PM PDT Any Now TV subscribers with an Android TV based smart TV will be interested to hear there's a new Android TV Now TV app available. It doesn't seem to integrate with Home Screen channels but at least it means not having to switch inputs any more. Oh, and it supports the "boost" pass so for £3 a month you can stream in 1080p EDIT: Looks like this might actually only apply to Sony TVs; I had to download it from the Play Store to get it so assumed it was available to all. Sorry! [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Sep 2020 05:52 PM PDT What is everyone using for a fullscreen browser? I tried Puffin but their proxying of sites caused issues, and you have to pay a subscription. I've tried the Fire TV version of Firefox, which seems great, however I cannot get a menu to show up once I have browsed to a page! I have a mouse connected and had seen suggestions of clicking at the left edge of the screen but nothing happens. I've tried Chrome, but you can't get rid of the address bar at the top of the screen. Scale screen option on the new Chromecast AndroidTV? Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:35 PM PDT For those that have one in hands, it's possible to scale the size of the screen on this unit like FireTV one and Shield for old TV? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Chromecast with Google TV - Retailers Posted: 29 Sep 2020 04:09 PM PDT Does anyone know where they will be sold tomorrow? Obviously we know Wal-Mart and Home Depot are carrying them. I know places like Staples and Best Buy also sell Chromecast products, however, I haven't seen anyone talk about purchasing from the aforementioned places. I'd like to be able to purchase one tomorrow without too much hassle. [link] [comments] |
