    I moved to an other internet provider and my old Vodafone TV box does not work.

    How can i repurpose this TV box?

    I cant set it up, it says i have to contact with a technical support.

    Ads on the top of Nexus Player Home Screen

    I don't know when it started, but recently I'm seeing ads at the top of my Nexus Player Home screen. They are labeled with "Google Play Staff Pick" or "Sponsored" but it's all pretty irrelevant content. Anyone know if there's a way to turn this off?

    I haven't seen anything like this on my other Android TV device (Nvidia Shield), so I'm hoping it's just a setting I couldn't find to turn it off maybe? Anyone have any tips on where to turn these off?

    Hi few days ago i started a discussion on project for live channels android tv where users will be entering their streams so we could make a TV library from free and legal streams , so had few suggestions positive ones and also what to do with the app etc now i have made the demo so will be needing testers :

    How to use the app :

    1 Sideload to your android tv 2 Open the app there will a demo channel RT news with guide and logo . 3 and a demo logo lci 4 Then after that you will see empty slot those are the slot that needs replacing with your streams by changing the empty slot to a tv channel name,and replace the dummy stream url with your m3u8 url of that channel. 5 There will be a xmltv file where you can get the channel ID and replace with your channel ID if there is no ID let me know i will see if i can find one .

    PLEASE DONT LEAVE ANY GAPS BETWEEN THE LINES BELOW JUST EDIT WHAT I MENTIONED .

    ONCE YOU ALL SET REMOVE THE OLD CACHE AND CLEAR DATA and do a fresh scan the slot you filled should show up ... dont worry about the logos ill sort them out later ....

    Finally since all android tv works with google i have gone with google emails but will need dropbox emails for logos still debating 😅

    So will need your email so i can invite you to the editable playlist USE NOTEPAD or any edit pad online from the cloud and save for sync

    FINALLY .TS FILES NOT SUPPORTED YET ONLY M3U8 FOR NOW Community IPTV

    Android box for my Samsung smart tv [EUROPE]

    I'm currently using a Samsung Smart TV, more specifially https://www.samsung.com/uk/tvs/uhd-mu6400/UE49MU6400UXXU/ one, and now I want to buy an adroid tv box as I've seen how much better it is in general since my tv lacks many applications and quite frankly, the whole system runs quite clunky but that is to be expected from a TV.

    I don't have a set budget, all I want is the following:

    • Powerful enough that it doesn't lag, smoothness is a priority
    • 4K support is A MUST, look above for the link

    I'll mostly use it for the general stuff as one would, I just want a better experience on my TV. Some people I've seen recommended the shield because of gaming, I mean I do game, but not sure if I need it on my tv, maybe I do, no idea honestly as I never tried that, but what I do most is browse stuff, watch videos/movies/tv shows.

    I'm located in Europe if that play any role. I can order from amazon.de no problem.

    Popcorn time is being automatically removed from app list post installation in Android Tv

    Am a newbie to android tv. I tried to install popcorn time using downloader and the app is successfully installed and i can use it. But once i exit the app i cannot find it in my app list or anywhere. Any suggestions?

    “Play next” channel on home screen not working with Netflix

    The settings for play next channel on android TV home screen has a toggle for Netflix which is turned on, I'm logged into Netflix and yet play next channel never shows me Netflix play next items. The only ones this channel sees are plex play next items. Anyone ever got this working?

    Usb as Internal Storage only stores 4GB of Data

    I installed a Sandisk 32 gb 3.0 USB drive as internal storage on my Sony 4K Bravia Android TV. However, the USB drive is only able to use 4GB of its entire storage capacity. While the system shows 26 GB of free space on the USB drive when I try to transfer any of the apps on to the Drive it says no storage or storage space is low. Any idea why this is happening? I formatted the USB using the TV's storage formatting option. Please help.

    Mi TV Stick ethernet

    Does anybody have the ethernet option working in developer options using an otg adapter similar to the ones used with firesticks/Chromecast etc or a usb hub for extra storage?
