Sony TV wrong Network Time (wifi connected, no internet) Posted: 21 Aug 2020 07:36 AM PDT My TV is connected to the home wifi but has no internet connection. This happened before and I fixed it by unplugging the tv. Today it happened again and unplugging the tv didn't fix it. People say the Time and Date must be set using network time. The problem is, I've been using network time and it's wrong. The date is set to March 2020 and at the wrong time. I already tried turning off the network time to set it manually and then return to network time, but that didn't fix anything since after a while it'll return to March 2020. Xiaomi mi box s ultra 4k bloatware and remote button Posted: 21 Aug 2020 05:08 AM PDT ive managed to get rid of amazon prime to free up a button on the remote so i could remap it to my tv providers app, i come to find out that i cant bind anything to the button because when i use button remap on android tv it doesn't recognize the button when i press it(just to clarify the button does work as it launched amazon prime before i removed it). what should i do to fix this issue? submitted by /u/subiwoobi1 [link] [comments]

Hisense AndroidTV has wildly different volumes for apps Posted: 20 Aug 2020 08:48 PM PDT Some apps are super loud at 16 volume and some are relatively quiet at 70 volume. PS4 remote play work around to use on Android TV that works for me. Posted: 20 Aug 2020 04:07 PM PDT I added a short cut for the PS4 remote play app in rainway on my PC to open it. I followed instructions from this youtube video https://youtu.be/l0cDJbOUVoo to emulate a controller to DS4. I use rainway to launch the ps4 remote play app. Then I use a remote mouse or a Remote Desktop app on my phone to start the vdm program and connect controller that rainway setups, and select ds4. Leave the vdm app open. The i click on the ps4 remote play window. Press start in my controller and it connects. I use the remote app on phone to make full screen. Once that is done I can use ps4 remote play through rainway. I am using a magic-ns adapter paired with a ds3 on my android tv boxes, a tivo stream and mi box S. Works great! Disable built-in Chromecast Posted: 20 Aug 2020 04:40 PM PDT I have a Mi Box S and literally will never use the built-in chromecast so it's just a nuisance. For example, playing music on Tidal will transition to the built-in chromecast with (albeit nice) photos instead of letting me glance to see what track is playing.
