I view it in gallery and, after moving to other folders and devices, view it also. However, having passed some time, my phone doesn't recognize the format of the image and asks me to delete when I try to open it. When it is in this unrecognizable format, it stays that way even if I move it to another platform, such as the PC. I tried formating the phone, but the problem persists. [link] [comments] |

| Recovering files from nexus 7 tablet Posted: 18 Jul 2020 10:38 AM PDT A family member has a Nexus 7 2013 tablet that's stuck in a boot loop of "optimizing app etc" then restarting, and over and over again. I can help wipe the device and set everything up again, but there's some pictures he'd like to save. Funny story, I told him multiple times in the past that something could happen so BACKUP. Well that didn't happen. So, I know he can get into Recovery Mode, and I had him try wiping cache. Not fixed. After some research it appears I might be able to use adb sideload to pull files from the device, but this needs TWRP (I think?) which it doesn't have, totally stock. I'm pretty good with computers and command line stuff but not fully up on the Android device stuff. So are there any options to try? -I thought maybe I could force an OTA update with sideload and that might get it to boot, but what release would I use here? https://developers.google.com/android/ota#razor Which one? MOB30X? Does it depend on hardware? How would I know if it can't boot? -Is there any other way to pull files from it in recovery mode? I tried some things on a Nexus 7 I have, but it won't even detect in Windows unless I allow it to fully boot and enable MTP or PTP. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Jul 2020 10:33 AM PDT Im using a Samsung galaxy note 10+ and the reddit app. Starting a couple weeks ago, every other time I click on the comments button on a post it opens the picture or video and freezes. I have to hit the back button (the android back button the reddit back button at the top of the screen does nothing) 4 or 5 times to go back to the main feed and try again. Having the cpu work at 100% vs capping it at 70% makes no difference. Has anyone else been experiencing this and or know what I can do to fix this? Edit: I thought I'd add that there are no other problems with the phone at all and I've had this phone for maybe a year tops. [link] [comments] |

The display doesnt work (just black), but the phone still "works" (gives vibration feedback, status light is on). but the phone has shut down. I can turn it on, but cannot unlock it (because I can't enter the pin) BEFORE SOMEONE ASKS: Yes, this is my phone. I have the pins, even the receipt. Is there ANY way of accessing my phone or data now? Connecting it via USB doesn't show the files, just the driver install. I have tried two mirroring softwares, but they don't show my phone (I guess, it's in the wrong USB mode for protection). Yes, I could ask to change to screen which is 70€ plus labour. But they usually wipe the phone. The guy in a repair shop didn't know any help. I was wondering about some sort of remote access. Please help, this is entirely not in my budget. Currently they pop up for Whatssap and Audible. How can i get rid of them forever. I know i can get rid of them temporarily when i press them and move them to a a bin which appears. | Posted: 18 Jul 2020 08:26 AM PDT hi r/AndroidQuestions, I've been trying to root my mobile (Lenovo K8 Note, Android 7.1.1) and I've successfully unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP recovery but when I go into recovery mode, instead of viewing TWRP, it shows the Android dude lying on the ground with "No command" written below it. When I press the appropriate buttons, it takes me to ANDROID RECOVERY, not TWRP RECOVERY. Can anyone please help? Last week i had the battery replaced because it only lasts 45 mins on battery and random shutdowns occurs. Now the battery lasts about 1-2 hours, but when it shuts down to 0%, if i immediately charge it in a matter of seconds the battery will show 60-100% charge. The tablet thinks the battery's low, but in reality it isn't. How can i reset the battery? Would doing a factory reset fix the problem? Thanks in advance! | Transferring Contacts - micro to nano sim change Posted: 18 Jul 2020 09:13 AM PDT I'd been using a Galaxy S4 for years, broke it, ordered an S7, and in the interim have been using an old S3. The new phone arrived, and talking to the local ATT store I was informed that my contacts couldn't be carried over from the micro to nano SIM card, and I'd need to back them up onto another device and retrieve them after. I plugged the S3 in, and while I can see/backup it's folders/contents with Android File Transfer, I can't see the contacts. Any guidance on how to find them and back them up is greatly appreciated. I've just bought a new pair of Bluetooth headphones, and I'm pretty happy with them, but when I use them on my Android device you can hear a static beeping sound when playing any kind of sound. The headphones can be used with a headphone jack too, and when using it, no beeping is present. I also tried the Bluetooth mode on the pc, the tv and on my ipad, and, also, no beeping is audible.
