I was able to install the Play Store version (side loaded) 5.2.13 armv7a on my Nexus Player today and its working fine in HD.

Took my Player out to connect to my PC monitor to use while WFH in covid and noticed 'AmazonSyncAccount.....' under Accounts section in Settings. Tried to Install the latest version apk and it Works!

Helpful for anyone still using this old Player.

Sony Bravis 55X900F no picture but chimes and wind sound

After closing a stream casting from the official Twitch app, I cannot get any picture on my TV whatsoever. The remote control buttons are unresponsive and I've performed several factory resets using the power buttons behind the TV. The only thing that happens is the screen turns on, then off, then on again ( No actual picture just different shades of black) and shortly after that, I hear wind and chimes and soft music. No picture on the screen whatsoever and I cannot do anything while the music repeats.

I've even tried installing USB firmware and it won't even recognize that. I don't even get the Sony logo. Is there anything else I am missing? Or did my less than two year old TV shit the bed out of the blue? Any help or tips are greatly appreciated.

Hi all... in the past at the bottom of the "home" page i can see wifi and see selection of nearby connection for ease of connecting. Now after this oreo update i can only see network on "settings" and its the long way of connecting.

Any idea????!

Built in Chromecast on Philips Android TV just stopped working today.

Who knows why, but after working flawlessly for 2 months, now my fairly new Philips 65inch Android TV just started failing and crashing alot. The built in Chromecast that was working so well just started refusing to work with any phone/app combination after rebooting the TV and Phones... weird.
