Paid game with the biggest online community?

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 04:32 AM PDT

I have some google play credits and I'm tired of gacha based games. I'm hoping paid games won't be gacha based and you just buy the full package. I'm open to any kind of game. I just want an active multiplayer aspect to the game. PvP or pve, though i prefer PvP. Active development would be a huge plus. I don't mind if the game has IAP for dlc or cosmetics.

Here are 3 games that not much have heard of but are worth every penny

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:19 AM PDT

1st game: delta touch. It's a app which let's you play doom mods ON YOUR PHONE (doom from 1992) it comes with gzdoom lzdoom chocolate doom prdoom and retro doom. It's only about 2 or 3 bucks. However keep in mind you need to have a copy of the original doom 1 and 2 files depending on which mods are for which game

2nd game: levelhead. A super mario maker spinoff with beatiful art, music and designs. Probably one of the most advanced mario maker spinoffs.the editor let's you put music at specific parts change the weather etc. It is my favorite game on this list how ever it costs a lot a whole 7 bucks

3rd place: death road to canada. A zombie survival game where you try to make it to canada. It has amazing music and pixel graphics. And lots of modes. The game doesn't take itself seriously as there are some jokes here and there. The story will always be randomly generated and so will the events not only that but you can make your own characters and give them traits and personalities. Sadly this one cost more then levelhead coming in at a 10 dollar price

    My cat

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 09:04 AM PDT

Hello folks. I've played a lot of ad-ridden games, and a game, called "My cat", allegedly gives money away. How scamny is that? Or the earn ratio is bad? What is the catch?

Looking for isometric turn based RPG

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 09:14 AM PDT

I've loved isometric RPGs since Baldur's Gate 1 on the PC. I thought these kinds of games would be perfect for phones/tablets, as you can take your time while the game is paused to make your decisions. BG1 (and the other infinity engine games) is not real turn based, and I think a real turn based game would be better for a phone. Examples of games I have played on PC: Shadowrun Returns, Divinity Original Sin, Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Whenever I try to find something like this on the Play store, though, I only find either trash JRPGs, non-inometric or real time action RPGs. So do any of you have any recommendations for an Android game in the same vein?

Hi, I'm currently developing a game that's in early access on Google Play. Earlier today another dev let me know that he'd never heard of one of my core mechanics until I asked him to try my game. So, if you don't mind responding...

    Underrated games on Android

    Posted: 21 Jun 2020 08:02 PM PDT

    • Triglav (Offline/Free)

Triglav is a roguelike dungeon crawler with hack and slash elements. The game is a standard roguelike. Having perma-death, progression, and a good amount of depth. The game starts of with you choosing from 3 classes. But unlike most RPGs where you choose between a warrior an archer and a mage, you choose from 3 melee classes. Each class either excels in having high damage, defense , or speed. Each class also has one active ability. Although there isn't much combat variety, there is great depth in item and stat augementation. Basically, the game offers the same hack and slash gameplay, but you have enough item customization to change how you want to do it. Whether if you want a hit-and-run type character or tanky character with either damage reflect or even lifesteal, it's all up to you. The game has a tap and hold movement scheme and it works really good. The isometric and pixelated persepective also reminds me of classic PC RPGs like Diablo 2 and the swampy dungeon aesthetic of the game reminds me of Lesabel. The audio in this game is not that good but still bearable. The game is silent most of the time and some of the music just triggers and then stops when a certain scenario, such as boss fights, are over. Overall, Triglav is a roguelike reminiscent to classic PC hack and slash RPGs. Play this if you like loot based dungeon crawlers.

    • Sigils of Elohim (Offline/Free)

SoE is a spin-off app from a game called the Talos principle. If you're not quite familiar from where it came from (like me), that isn't going to be a problem that will hinder your progress in the game. The game is a puzzler with tetris-like gameplay. The gameplay is simply that you have to arrange blocks to perfectly fit a board. There are alot of levels in this game and the difficulty scales only on how good you are. Overall, Sigils of Elohim is a casual puzzler that is easy to just pick up and play and requires a good amount of thinking. Good as any casual games you can share with your friends and family and can be played for a long amount of time.

    • Roller Riot (Offline/Free)

Roller Riot is a tactical beat 'em up with 2D graphics and a good aesthetic. The gameplay is that you have to tap either left or right to hit enemies in that direction. Enemies also have a different number of hits needed to take them down and you should time when to hit because missing a shot can leave you vulnerable. The gameplay is simplistic and starts off very easy but as you progress, the number of enemies, aswell as the difficulty will increase making the game more and more fastpaced which makes playing this game a very addictive and fun experience. The game also has great 2D art that combines futuristic cyberpunk elements with classic retro 80s trends.

-Vikings II: Wolf Archer's Progenies (Offline/Free)

Vikings II is a standard shoot 'em up with great visuals. Like most shoot 'em up games, There are upgrades, power-ups, bosses, and enemies with different attack patterns. It really does nothing new with the genre, but the artstyle is really what makes it unique and separates it from other generic 1945 or Skyforce inspired shoot 'em ups on Android and iOS. The gameplay is very engaging with it's diverse enemy types and unique bosses every five levels. Each hero also has a unique passive skill and there are also several power-ups you can pick up while playing.

    • Rogue Grinders (Offline/Free)

Rogue Grinders is a casual roguelike. There are a variety of characters with their own skills. There are items that make you stronger, and there are consumables that either heal you or damage enemies. The gameplay is not as challenging or difficult but still requires strategy. The game also has retro graphics and a very compact size of 8mb. It's also a standard mobile roguelike. Having turn based gameplay, a variety of enemies and bosses, perma-death, and the usual roguelike tropes.

Non-gacha Match 3/RPG games like Puzzle Quest?

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 10:09 AM PDT

I loved Puzzle Quest back in the day. The mix of RPG with match 3 was perfect. I've tried some in Android but they're all gacha, with the typical cave-at that the campaign missions get super-tough after about 5-6 maps, so you have to grind and grind or spend $$$. So anything like the original Puzzle Quest with its single player campaign with no grind, no gacha, just pure fun?

So I've been playing dead cells on my Huawei p9 lite for the past few days and I rly like it but the performance is pretty bad, especially in the 2nd level but also noticeable in other levels. Is there a way I can increase the performance without getting a new phone?

Looking for online multiplayer (3 players) turn based games

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 07:18 AM PDT

Hey, I'm looking for more games to play with some friends. Specifically games you don't continuously have to pay attention to, just play your turn and put your phone away. We love playing Evil Apples (Cards Against Humanity clone) so think of that kind of gameplay style. Doesn't have to be a card game though, we were also thinking about games like Worms, but sadly that's a paid game. Any suggestions?

[REQUEST] Menu Based Games with Chat

    Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:05 AM PDT

Looking for a game where most of the tinkering is done through menus, with no real dexterity. Looking for something tick based that i can sink time into. Preferably not something with limited moves per day.

Also want it to have MP aspect to it, preferably with in game chat to engage with the community. Don't care if its a small community or large, doesn't matter to me.

Bonus points if its nice to use, and isnt a poorly done container for a web app
