Among Us - a great little hidden traitor game that people should check out.

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 12:25 AM PDT

Edit for clarity: "hidden traitor" is the genre, I'm not saying this is some hidden gem, just a regular gem.

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.innersloth.spacemafia

I've started playing this game over the last two days and I find it really engaging and fun.

10 people on a spaceship, 1 of them is an imposter trying to kill everyone else without getting caught. Discussions and votes when a body is found or someone calls a meeting.

It's in the veins of Town of Salem/Trouble in Terrorist Town.

Matchmaking is relatively smooth, and more players just means more games.

A match in my experience lasts about 10 minutes, so good for a bit of fun.

    Please check it out.

And for clarity I am in no way affiliated with the game, just a fan.

[DEV] [PUZZLE] A small puzzle game that randomly generates each level - Splashy!

[Dev] Inspired by Civilizations Games and RPG. Took your feedback from my various posts over the year and turned it into this hybrid game.

    Game Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.voiddimension

    https://preview.redd.it/qrlln9sfwp451.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3cdefcad0dac18fb679751a9e38925e944d8560e

After a year working full time hours on this hybrid game, it is ready for Open Beta testing. I took the feedback you guys gave me from the last game which ties in to this one in terms of story and improved it greatly. Right now in the Open Beta my goal is to test the mechanics and features of the game. Chapter 1 of the story is in the Quests which ties many of the elements of the game. I am a solo (indie) developer with outsourced graphics design so I hope you don't judge this as a Studio developed game.

Will be updating 15th and last day of each month. Content and features will be updated in those updates along with any bug fixes that are required. Critical bugs will be fixed and updated if they are found as soon as possible during the Open Beta.

Game is a mix genre game and you can play the parts you like. Battle is required for some quests but for those that do not like battle grinding for XP and Skill Points you can obtain Skill and XP tomes through crafting. Crafting is dependent upon mainly gathering or trading of resources. Some items you need to obtain from Idle Search or Battle (quickest way). These items are easily obtained so you don't have to spend hours farming them through battle. Most of the crafting material can be produced in your settlement through various buildings and farm types. Pick and choose what you like and play those features and if you need a change you have options to do other things in game! Chapter 1 does require you to play the different features just so you get a general idea of them but after Chapter 2 each main quest will have multiple options on how you want to do the quest to benefit one of the various elements within the game.

Game Features: Civilizations Genre Features – Build your settlement. Research production and technology. Establish trade and relations with other settlements on the map. Current map is one continent out of many that I have designed. There will be ports and sea maps in the future with pirates and water based races. I will be adding more Civilizations type features as time goes on.

RPG Features – Character customization is a big feature that I liked in many RPG games so I put that in. Currently each character has 5 stats that increase by level and can be further increased by the Character Tokens you earn at level up. Other stats that aren't increased can be supplemented either by equipment (currently in Alpha Testing) or Character Evolution (currently in Alpha Testing). Character Evolution will change the appearance of your characters and uses Soul Fragments that you collect through the game. Basic types of Quests are available to develop Characters and Story.
Artisan/Crafting Features – Every item in the game is available in the crafting system. As crafting levels increase you will be crafting better quality equipment and more items. As your settlement prestige increases Master Artisans will join your settlement making your crafting easier as well as offering unique recipes as they level up.

Tower Defense/War Strategy – (In Alpha – available in Chapter 2 Update coming July). Use your troops (all enemies except certain bosses can be acquired as troops and customized just like Heroes) to breach defenses of other settlements and encampments. We will also have a PvP option coming using this feature in the near future.

How to tap on screen more accurately in games?

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 11:01 AM PDT

I'm used to playing games on my android tablet so now when I play games on my phone, the screen is so much smaller so I keep clicking things that either I'm not supposed to click or misses where I want to click. This makes gaming so much more difficult

I don't think this is normal considering how enjoyable I see people play their games. Any tips on how to improve and make tapping more accurate?

    Thanks

AIs from AI Dungeon 2 to sexy to funny and one based wholly on Reddit!

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:53 AM PDT

[ANN] VAST improvement - (SEXY?? I tried retraining it but I have no idea if it had any effect haha) AI Dungeon 2! It's a frighteningly dark infinite text adventure game. It learns how to get under your skin and test your paradigms. Seriously, there are YouTubes upon youtubes on this. OG dev llives at github, in a user called aidungeon and repo of the same. http://jare.cloud/ai-dungeon-2/ Android AI Chat Apps! (Android apps are LIVE, much less intrusive and resource intensive... DOWNLOAD NOW! A streamlined, less heavy version of the banned books bot lives here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dcss.bannedbooks and another way to see how kinky the computer can be lives here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dcss.flirtbot

I made a bunch of different AIs, but today I improved my strategy and built AIs that have context from your existing conversation and tries to communicate conversationally rather than as a question-asnwering type chat.

    The best news?

I built this particular one on The Ricky Gervais Show featuring Steve Merchant and Karl Pilkington - all the transcripts I could find ;)

    http://jare.cloud/the-ricky-gervais-show-featuring-steve-merchant-and-karl-pilkington-chat-bot/

I built this one to flirt with you regardless of the time of day, or such stresses common folk have like headaches or being toooo tired...

    http://jare.cloud/sexy-flirt-bot/

I built this one to reference only banned books by the likes of Chomsky or dozens of banned books on the occult or current situations....

    http://jare.cloud/banned-books-bot/

(note that the last 2 are being re-trained from acting as question-answering bots to being more conversational bots that have context from the last messages as we speak :) be about 5 more hours before they're live-worthy....)

This one simply draws it's wealth of knowledge from a subsection of reddit posts, and is probably the most likely to beat the Turing test of all of them:

[REQUEST] Looking for a game whose name I forgot

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 09:16 AM PDT

There was a paid android game I used to play around 2018-2019 whose name I do not remember now. I cannot find it in the same account because the gmail account was deleted.

-It was an almost minimalistic 2D game that consisted of a small pink(?) triangle in a black background that kept shooting pink bullets every 0.2 seconds or so that was supposed to fight off enemies that kept coming at you . Kinda like a survival shooter thing.

-The visual palette was mainly green and pink with black as the background color.

-There were also bosses in the game, notable ones being a giant pink centipede-like creature and another being a large green spider that summoned smaller green spiders.

-The game icon in the Playstore has the centipede thing I mentioned earlier

I'd appreciate if anybody could find and tell me the game name.

    titanfall assault-like game

    Posted: 12 Jun 2020 08:02 PM PDT

I remember playing this titanfall assault game couple of years ago or so, really liked it but apparently it has been shut down for a while now. Any games out there like it ? to explain the gameplay loop, you had to hold strategic points on the map to score, the unit deploy system was like clash royale where you would build your deck of units beforehand and have energy to deploy them built up over time.

Android games on PC without emulators

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 08:09 AM PDT

Hi. I just wanted to know if there is a way to run android games on PC without emulators(Bstacks, nox). I have a very potato PC and emulators make it so laggy it's not even possible to run games. I also tried screen mirroring using Airdroid but not only it's laggy, the syncing isn't perfect either.

I tried to get ARC welder for chrome but it doesn't work for some reason. Is there any way to play android games on PC smoothly? Thanks in advance

Some assistance with save files and play games please.

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 07:40 AM PDT

On my old handheld super computer, I played injustice 2 mobile alot. And progressed very far.

Now, I've gotten a new phone, and need to upload my save.

But I never used Google play games with injustice, due to not needing to. But I read it's the only way to keep a save from phone to phone.

I DL'd it last night on both, old and new. Played it. But on my new handheld super computer, it's starting as a new game.

    Help? I'm baffled.

Why do people not use Grid Autosport or similarly heavy titles as benchmarks?

    Posted: 13 Jun 2020 07:21 AM PDT

Not salty or anything, just genuinely curious. You'd think it'd be a more useful metric to measure newer flagships and gaming phones instead of testing Asphalt 9 and such.
