| Posted: 05 May 2020 02:01 AM PDT I've seen a few older posts (2+ years ago) about using Android TV with a webcam and how Logitech webcams (Logitech C270) seem to have the most support.
A few OS updates and a global pandemic later, I am (im)patiently waiting for my Mi Box S to arrive. My family generally use Zoom for video calls (I know there are security concerns, nothing I can do about that, my mum can use Zoom - we can't change to anything else) and I think it would be great to use Zoom on an Android TV rather than my phone. Does anyone have any experience using webcam on Android TV? From previous posts their seems to be issues with getting the microphone specifically to work. Any specific webcams that are confirmed to work, or are we at the stage where any webcam made in the last couple years has a high chance of working with Android TV? [link] [comments] |
