What small feature did you not realize you'd miss until you upgraded? Posted: 22 May 2020 12:49 PM PDT I just recently went from a Pixel 3 to a Galaxy A71. I had no idea how much I'd miss squeeze-to-activate-assistant. I find myself attempting to do it multiple times a day, and when it doesn't work, I get a little bummed out. It was such a ridiculously useful, albeit entirely inconsequential feature. Likewise, I never knew how much I'd miss an IR blaster when I went from my HTC One M8 to a Nexus 6P. I didn't use it often, but I found that any time I could have used it I was missing it. And it's not exactly a staple feature on midrange or flagship devices anymore. What about y'all? Xperia 1 II Unboxing/First Impressions. (Japanese) Posted: 22 May 2020 05:52 AM PDT I'm excited to see some full reviews on this baby soon! What do you guys think? Not sure on worldwide pricing, but it's definitely going to be over $1,000 USD. Japanese pricing varies by carrier at the moment. [link] [comments]

Small premium Android phones - a dying breed? Posted: 22 May 2020 05:13 AM PDT I suppose this topic has come up here and there within various subreddits and threads in the past but - why is it that small sized premium android phone models are so few and far between? I'm sure there are more of us who would like to see/buy such models. For me, I think the most important aspects then are full screen (utilize that small formfactor to the max) and as good battery life as is possible. Camera decent, nothing exotic necessary. What about you? Any good existing alternatives and how would your "ideal" small sized android be? [link] [comments]
