It's been 84 years, but adding friends is again possible on Google Play Games.

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 01:48 AM PDT

For anyone who doesn't know about Google opinion rewards it is an app that will give you play credits for answering short surveys. I've made about 15$ in credits since I started. Perfect for buying games.

[REQUEST] Looking for multi-player games that can take turns/played over long periods of time. Games like Words with friends, Draw Something

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 12:24 PM PDT

I work in an area with spotty cell reception and can only play games occasionally. I'm looking for game where I can take my turn, wait for my wife to take hers and then check back when I have time to go again.

Open to any game types for the most part.

Gems Of War is a great game

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 10:27 PM PDT

A little while ago, someone on here asked for a recommendation for a match 3 game, and someone else suggested Gems Of War. Another person commented that they were at Level 1,000 and still hadn't paid a cent. I thought I'd give it a go.

It's a great game. It's very polished, it's got great depth, and indeed, if you're happy just to grind, you can do so without paying for anything. I think it's an excellent example of how games with in-app purchases should be.

Thank you, /r/AndroidGaming, for a great suggestion.

EDIT: I notice I'm getting a lot of down votes. I'm not a shill, I just really enjoyed the game and wanted to say thanks to this sub for introducing me to it. If this is inappropriate, please miss remove the post.

[REQUEST] Need some android game suggestions similar to clash of clans

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 10:01 AM PDT

As most people in the world, I am also staying at home due to covid 19. I don't have a console or a pc so I do watch movies and play one game with my mobile.

So I need some more game suggestions. Something simple like clash of clans that I am playing right now. Don't want games like cod or pubg. Something simpler.

So what are your suggestions. You gamers should know a lot about these. Free from playstore.

I would really love an offline game that you have to complete missions but your whole body should be seen. You have to invade an island or something like that. Also similar games to Nintendo game boy.

Game to play with your kid remotely?

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 01:02 PM PDT

Are there any good family games that a parent could play against their child (both on different devices)? Something similar to the little games on Facebook Messenger - basic for a 7 year old but still pretty fun and maybe even social (being able to chat still)

[Rising Empires 2] 4x Android Strategy Game, Beat this World Record

[Rising Empires 2] 4x Android Strategy Game, Beat this World Record

So 265 Turns with these sort of game conditions (listed at the bottom of the image) is basically the World Record right now, so [5 Empires] [Neutral Races On] [Normal Size] [Normal Difficulty] [Second Town Start] is basically the criteria, the Religion and Race you play in the game does matter but is almost irrelevant to the actual criteria similar to like a speed-run any% or any% with certain conditions added onto it

I'm challenging anyone here to beat this record and then upload the run whether in a video format (Video clip of every settlement and the entire game which will probably include the diplomacy screen to make sure all the races have been conquered) or a picture (which is probably going to be a set of pictures you put together for one coherent screenshot) probably to it's designated subreddit r/RisingEmpires

Krant Empire [5 Empires] [Neutral Races On] [Normal Size] [Religion:Working The Land] [Normal Difficulty] [Second Town Start]

I'd like to take a moment to shill* for Open Touch Gaming

    Posted: 31 Mar 2020 06:14 PM PDT

    * I am not actually a shill and have no association with Open Touch Gaming.

I've already bought both of his apps, so I figure this is the best I can do to continue to support him.

His apps are Delta Touch and Quad Touch, ports of multiple Doom (idTech 1) and Quake (idTech2) engines.

Each includes a set of the best engines available for each game. Delta includes GZDoom, LZDoom, Chocolate Doom, PRBoom, Zandronum and RetroDoom. Quad supports Quake 1-3 and includes Quakespasm, Dark Places, FTEQW, Quake 2, Yamagi Quake 2, IOQuake3 and Hammer of Thyrion (for Hexen 2). You need to provide your own game data (the games are readily purchasable on Steam) but they are great ports. The touch controls work perfectly and the games have full support for mods.

They're pretty cheap ($2-3 range) and can get you a ton of time out of them. I highly recommend!

[REQUEST] Good single player zombie survival game w/o stamina/waiting

    Posted: 01 Apr 2020 02:35 AM PDT

Title said it all. I want a game close to something like CDDA but not as hardcore as that and with better graphics. I know about Last Day by Kefir, but the stamina system is simply too annoying. Being 2D or 3D doesn't matter, as long it's not too emphasized on mindless shooting.

If you think game development is hard. Just wait until you get to marketing, that is the real nightmare.
