    Since I updated my Mi Box S to android 9.0 I can no longer close it down using the power off button. Am I stupid or am I missing something ?

    So I'm trying to get one locally but no electronic store carries one....at all in or near philadelphia. All they carry is the shield tv tubular model. Now, all i want to do is steamlink and emulators. Will the shield tv work just fine for me? Main reason why i wanted the pro was the usb ports so i can attach my external drive which has all my roms (ps1, snes, n64 and such). It will also work secondarily as my media hub for my tv.

    Moving app to USB - Not enough storage!

    I have plugged a 1TB external storage and formatted it as internal drive. It works with media just fine.

    In the apps section, when I tap "Storage used", for some apps it allows me to select the USB drive (with 880GB available), however it fails with "not enough storage space".

    What does it mean? There is plenty of storage space in that drive, that's the reason I'm trying to move apps there...

    Format as internal storage - confusion

    My Mi Box S has 8GB of internal storage (5GB visible).

    I attached a 500GB drive and selected "format as internal storage".

    It seems to work as I was able to upload much more than 5GB of movies without problems. However, the play store does not allow me to install new applications! It says my internal storage is full.

    So, it seems media content goes to the new drive, but applications are still stuck in the original storage? I don't see any option to choose where the applications should be stored.

    I don't like this voodoo behavior, no idea where things are...

    EDIT: In some of the apps, I can tap the "storage used" option and select "USB Drive" (with 881 GB available), however, it failes with "Not enough storage space" - that makes no sense!

    KeyMapper - Free and OpenSource app that Remaps any TV Remote button to a custom action

    Android TV App "Key Mapper" can remap TV Remote hardware key events to a custom action. The aim of this project is to allow anyone to make any button they use with their Android device do whatever they want.

    You can combine multiple remote keys to form a "trigger" and have as many triggers as you want for each action. You can make a key map only work on a long press as well.

    E.g. you can remap NETFLIX button to Amazon Video or Google Play button to any other App store...

    No Ads. Free and Open Source.

    Permissisons: The app will tell you if a permission needs to be granted for a feature to work.

    There is NO GUARANTEE any of these buttons will work and this app isn't designed to control games. Your device's OEM/vendor can prevent them from being remapped.

    Any recomendations for an AndroidTv Television?

    I'm diving into the Google ecosystem. I recently bought Stadia and now I want to ditch my old Philips TV and Xbox for a 50 - 55" TV with AndroidTv built in. I would like to be able to purchase 32" basic models as well. I don't care to use all the android apps just a few. Here is what I need: 4K HDR for the 50-55", 720 or 1080 for 32", voice control, with the ability to use the following apps: netflix, youtube, google music, google movies, youtube music, and pluto. Not being to use all of these apps mentioned would be a dealbreaker. Amazon Video app support would be nice too, but I hear it currently doesn't work?

    Is this possible or a even good idea? I looked at Hisense & Phillips models, but they had bad reviews. Seems like AndroidTv doesn't even work properly, but I'd be happy if I could just use the apps mentioned.

    Just looking for advice & suggestions for current owners and users.

    How to disable system volume?

    I have a foxtel now box which is working fine. I have my box plugged into my receiver and it is able to control the volume by cec fine. Is there a way that i can lock/disable the system volume and leave it at maximum, so that the only volume control is on my receiver?

    Install Android TV OS on Turewell T95 Max?

    I know it's a cheap box, but I needed something cheap atm. It comes with a modified Android phone OS, and I'm looking for some help installing the Android TV OS, if possible. I don't care about the apps or anything, I can just reinstall the ones I want. Appreciate it.

    Live Channels Question

    When using the Live Channels app, how do I pause what's playing. I know I've seen the pause || button before but no longer can find it .... may have been thinking about a different app since I use multiples.
