I also own a Moto G6 on Google Fi. To my dismay, Motorola disabled LDAC in Android Pie and I most likely won't get the upgrade to Android 10. The way I see it, in order to get LDAC support I have 3 options:
From what I've read, apps like my bank account app and Snapchat won't work on rooted phones, and I can definitely understand why for banking security. I don't want to go through the headache of trying to get the apps to work and I don't want to brick my device trying to. I'm at a loss on what to do. The thing is we broke up, and the app is having an issue with newer android version. Issue: To use the control the smart home I have to enter all these settings in pop up forms, but when I fill in the form, it just won't save. I have been keeping my old android phone just for this purpose, but it has recently died and I am not even able to close my curtains and lock my door... All YouTube videos I watched seemed to suggest that you only get 10-20 minutes less of charging from 15% to 100% making it a waste of money due to how expensive the charger is. | Phone randomly plays universal theme Posted: 29 Feb 2020 03:40 PM PST This afternoon I was on Pinterest when the universal theme suddenly started blasting. I closed the app and checked if it was a notification (there wasn't any). The song kept playing so I closed all of my apps thinking that it was an app that kept running. I blocked my phone but it kept playing until the song finished. This really creeped me out so I googled the problem and found out that a lot of people have had this issue and had some other sounds/music they never downloaded play at random times. | Google app crashes unless I clear cache after every restart Posted: 01 Mar 2020 09:21 AM PST For the last week, my Google app crashes upon opening. I can't view the Google feed. If I use the assistant, it listens to my voice and recognizes it, but then crashes as soon as it tries to show results. By crash, I mean the results screen flashes for a millisecond and then disappears. There's no toast or other message. If I clear the Google app storage, it works again until I restart the phone. I'm on a OnePlus 6, stock OOS 9.0.9 (still on Android 9). Things I have tried: Upgrading to the latest version of the Google app. Uninstalling all updates to the Google app. Clearing all data in the Google play store app. Rebooting to recovery and clearing the phone's cache. I'm looking for a way to remote desktop my tablet (Sony Xperia Tablet Z, Android 5.1.1) and i've tried a few so far, but none of them did what i needed (mainly to switch audiobook in Audible or Smart Audiobook Player, and switching between those apps). I'd prefer to remote control it from anywhere and from any device, but at the very least, i need it to work wirelessly and with a windows 7 computer to control it. I'd also like it to be possible to control it from my phone (Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Android 9). Teamviewer: It connects, but i can't control it, i can only see what's happening on the screen, which is useless for my needs. Add to that the fact that my entire teamviewer account is suspected of commercial use, which is a pain to fix (i've tried). Vysor: Connects and lets me control the tablet without any issues, wahey...except that it doesn't allow me to use wifi, unless i subscribe to it, which would not work for me. I don't mind a single time payment, but not subscriptions. Airdroid: Granted, it's been a long time since i used it, but back then, i could only transfer files and respond to messages. Certain apps and games will periodically spam my camera roll with an ungodly amount of thumbnails and ad files. It won't show up when I open the photos app, but when I go to send someone an image somewhere like on Discord or Instagram, they show up there and it takes forever to scroll past them. It isn't detrimental to me using my phone, just very annoying. Any tips to stop this? [link] [comments] |

Went to Chrome Web Store to download Adblock for Youtube https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-for-youtube/cmedhionkhpnakcndndgjdbohmhepckk . When I select add to chrome, it takes me to a screen that says "Use your favorite extensions with chrome. Now more simple, secure and faster than ever - with help from Google built in. The catch here is I am ALREADY and CURRENTLY AT THE MOMENT using Chrome to install that extension so when I try to download, it says already installed. So if it's already installed, why can't I add Chrome extensions from the Webstoree without being told that I need to download Chrome first?? Seriously getting pissed off here. I used to be able to use my bluetooth system in my car to give commands or ask questions to Google Assistant like "give me directions to x" or "will it rain today?". It has lately been telling me to unlock the phone and press the notification, which is absolutely useless since I would be driving. When I do unlock the phone the notification just says "When the phone is locked you can use your voice to talk to the Google assistant with a headset" (I mean, what the notification says completely contradicts its existence). Posted: 01 Mar 2020 07:44 AM PST If I use browser for example and put it in the background to open another app and use it for a while, then when I switch back to browser it fucking reloads EVERYTIME and it asks for WIFI connection (if I go offline) this is super annoying, in case of music apps, when using playing audiobooks, it plays from the begining if it's idle for a while.
