| Posted: 30 Jan 2020 06:29 AM PST Title, pretty much. I have a Samsung s8+ and yesterday dark mode was on and this morning I woke up and it was off and the switch was greyed out. The only way I can get it to turn on is by turning on power saver mode. Was there a recent update that did this or is something wrong with my OS? [link] [comments] |

It works fine when I'm just connected to my laptop and browsing, but if I connect the PS4 try to download large files, the phone will get hot and it will refuse to charge, even though it's plugged in to the original fast charge cable. I see two updates, few KB each, which is strange because usually it's 20-30MB. Posted: 30 Jan 2020 12:17 PM PST Is there a way for me to tell android "do not close this app for any reason whatsoever, give it all the memory it wants"? Getting real tired for my phone closing apps that I minimize that I want kept open. Id almost rather the phone lag; at least then I could go close the stuff I want. It's very weird shouldn't it have like 250gb or something usually they reserve some for other stuff. | Playing video with video player on a web site. Posted: 30 Jan 2020 10:44 AM PST Hello. I used to have Android OS called ColorOS. ColorOS it's an OS of China brand "Oppo". When I was opening any video web site there browser was sending video to video player app. So I could use one video interface on all sites. And it was Oppo video player than very close to MX PLayer. Please help me do the same on other Android OS. I don't like use built in video players on web sites. Video player as MX player is so much better and has lots features. Thanks. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 30 Jan 2020 06:00 AM PST I was trying to transfer audio files on my PC this morning. The usual popup appeared which asks what kind of transfer I want to use. I set it to transfer files, but it still didn't appear on my PC. I went into the usb option (Wich were available) but since there's only the same four option as the popup from the status bar I just got out of this menu. I tried deppluging and replugging it and now those options (the usb preference options) are grey so this menu is unusable and the popup for when I plug in usb doesn't appear anymore, and most importantly, my phone doesn't charge anymore. I tried a few cable, and I don't think it is the usb cable on my phone Wich died because it worked the same morning perfectly and was charging fine before that. The buttons are getting annoying when I play games i keep accidentally hitting them. I have cat buttons and don't want to use button bars that you swipe up for home or back or switch between apps. | Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:33 AM PST Hey everyone, wondering if anyone has experienced this or knows if this is a security problem. My phone (OnePlus 5T) has an icon at the top of the phone that pops up when my phone is uploading data. For example, when sending a SnapChat, the app shows that is sending the snap, as well as the icon at the top of the phone shows it is uploading, and when the snap shows that it has been sent, the uploading icon goes away. However, recently, when I finish doing things such as sending a snap, the icon at the top of my phone remains for a little longer, showing that my phone is still uploading data. Even when I make a phone call, once I disconnect from the call, the icon for the active call at the top of my phone remains for a while longer, even showing the time of the call still counting up. After a few seconds it will then finally go away. I truly hope this is just my phone showing its age and maybe its just slow in getting rid of icons, but my fear is that my phone has some kind of malware in it that is sending everything I am doing to someone else. I tried getting AVG anti virus to scan, and everything came out okay, but my phone continues to show the extra uploading. Is there anything else I can try that would help verify what is happening with my phone? [link] [comments] |

| Only Blue on LED notifications Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:03 AM PST I realized my LED notifications showed WhatsApp messages in blue, when their usually green. I downloaded "LED tester" to check and only blue turned on, but when I charge my phone the red light turns on just fine, so it doesn't seems to be a hardware issue.
