    Free Hardcore Turn-Based Strategy Games?

    Posted: 23 Dec 2019 11:39 PM PST

I'm looking for a game like Battle for Wesnoth, Langisser, or Fire Emblem Heroes, but something that's much more challenging that makes you think hard and rip your hair out! It needs to be Turn-Based. No RTS, no Tower Defense, and no hand-holding games. Thanks!

Looking for games similar to stepmania or piano tiles 2?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2019 10:52 AM PST

I love playing stepmania type rhythm games on my PC (just four buttons makes it really easy and intuitive to track note patterns), but the only half decent one I've found on Android so far, piano tiles 2, is unfortunately a cheetah mobile app, and I want something with higher intensity music anyway. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Portrait mode play is nice too, by the way :) thank you!

    Simple Rockets 2. Thoughts?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2019 04:27 AM PST

I just wondered what anyone thought of this on mobile? From reading reviews, the interface leaves alot to be desired and it is extremely fiddly.

As it's on sale, I'll probably get and test for the 2 hours allotted for return, but some thoughts would be great.

Edit : downvoted, I'd appreciate your opinion on your experiences on a 6" screen. When asking for an opinion, that just seems lazy and a little pointless. I'm only relaying info i read on the store and a few sites.

    MOBA

    Posted: 24 Dec 2019 06:24 AM PST

I got into MOBAs recently and while i have not played many of them, i have played some before for a short time. So which is the best MOBA game out there currently in terms of gameplay? Also the game should be active(very active is better) and not almost dead.

Other games like Hoplite and Bounty Hunter Space Lizard?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2019 11:23 AM PST

I've played both of these into the ground.

    What I'm looking for:

    • Light story and RPG (character building elements).
    • Turn-based.
    • Either really bite-sized play or allows you to continue later.
    • Usable, clear interface.
    • Player agency, i.e., not a rigid puzzle or math equation (looking at you Desktop Dungeons).
    • Some kind of ending.

What I've tried: Enyo (I don't know why I can never get into this); * Pixel Dungeon (also played into the ground); Occidental Heroes; Battlemage; Lamp 'n Vamp (although this might be iOS only); Cardinal Quest (not terrible, playing it right now); Dungeon Cards (meh); Caves (no ending, pushes microtransactions); Dungeon Rushers (get boring quickly).

I'm okay with paying, but not ok with microtransactions.

Anyone able to play Swords of Ditto with a controller?

    Posted: 24 Dec 2019 08:21 AM PST

The game maps the pause button to the attack button so everytime you attack, you bring up the menu.

Tried with the junglecat, an ipega, a mocut and a daqi M1.

I'm looking for a game on mobile where you can be either good or evil. Free would be great but other suggestions that you have to pay will be gratefully accepted too, thanks!
