What is a good vpn choice for android tv?

Basically the title. Since the black friday deals have come, I decided to finally get a vpn. I was looking up for some vpn deals lists the other day that it would be in one place and just easier for me to compare and choose one. Anyways, I wanted to get some opinion from people that have been using vpns on their android tv's themselves. Maybe you could recommend me one that you really liked and you had a smooth experience with? Nordvpn deal got me quite interested only because I would really have where to use the NordLocker app, also I heard some good comments about this vpn itself, but nothing about using it for android tv particularly.

Best place and time to buy MI Box S?

Hi folks! I was hoping someone here could help me, since the last time i bought an android box, despite doing a good amount of research, I was quite dissapointed with the result.

This time around, I'm pretty sure a MI Box S is what I'm after, but I'm uncertain about whether I'll pay less buying it from amazon, ebay, aliexpress, or somewhere else. I'm also uncertain whether black friday is likely to make a difference, and most of all, I'm confused about which versions I should be paying attention to!

I already have an airmouse remote that I'm very happy with, as well as a wireless keyboard and bluetooth mouse, so I'm not bothered about controls, I just need a device that's relatively fast (I'm not after 4k streaming here, my eyesight isn't good enough to worry about that!).

Can anyone just give me a quick pointer? My basic question is, if you were going to get a MI Box S to use throughout 2020, what would you do to acquire one?

trying to sideload, getting "No apps can perform this action"

Hi,

I just got my first androidtv - I got a MiBox S. I want to sideload apps on my device, so I'm following all of the guides online. They all say go to setting, security and restrictions, install unknown apps and turn it on, but when I get there, it just says in gray "No apps can perform this action". How can I install like a first app on it so I can sideload apps normally?

Mi Box S Dead?

Hey guys. I updated my Mi box S to Android 9 by going into recovery and downloading from a external drive. When the update finished, it indicated in the top left that I was on 9, but when I try to "reboot system now," it pops up with the Mi logo and boots you back into recovery after about 25 seconds. I've tried so many things like going back to 8.1(which failed) and many other things on the internet, but nothing works. I really love this box and would hate to see it go. Any ideas?

Any LeEco owners out there?

Super 4 X55 owner here. I have a Vizio sound bar hooked up to the TV via optical audio. The settings within the TV stick, but no matter what, I always have to hard power down the TV and make sure the sound bar is on before using the Television. Otherwise the sound bar doesn't work at all.

Also, does anyone have issues with the built-in Hulu app? It will get all the way to playing media and then crash. I've done everything including a hard reset, and have no luck.

As good as the Shield is, if Google decided to make another streaming box I'd be all over it.
