    I was wondering if it's possible to change the DPI of an Android TV (Mi Box) the UI, especially the home screen, seems a little big on a big display. Any idea?

    Disney+ Surround Sound Issue

    When I turn on a new movie, it starts in 5.1 (or at least it uses all speakers) and within a second switches to a 2.0 feed (which shows on my receiver).

    My receiver is set to auto detect the feed and switches to whicheve format is sent. I can't seem to find any settings that allow me to change the type of feed the D+ app sends. Most of the options are grayed out.

    Any suggestions?

    Delete stock apps on TV

    Does anybody know how I can delete the unusefull stock apps on my TCL Android TV? Apps like: Rakuten TV, Eros now etc.

    Tv with android tv built in vs tv+androidtv box

    So my girlfriend is looking for a tv for his parents around 200€, 32 inch, so the new xiaomi tv 4s4a is an option, but i noticed it is hd only (1366 x 768) and i dont know if this resolution is too low. I have been looking for alternatives, but i couldnt find much, as most of the google results give boxes, not tvs. If the tv + box is a better option, wich ones would you buy? Thanks in advance

    Any update Firestick 4K versus mibox s

    This question has been asked before I think but time has gone by and I was looking for an update.

    Just bought xiaomi mibox s. Pretty good. Not super fast interface but usable for kodi addons and Netflix/disney etc. Nice that it connects to all my google devices and doorbell. $40

    Firestick 4K $25. Heard this has the same cpu but the interface has tons of ads and unnecessary stuff. Also extra steps to install some basic apps (but now better with Downloader app). Some people describe it as very fast.

    What I'm wondering is, is the Firestick much better than mibox at kodi and other stream apps like netflix in 1080p and 4K or are they about the same. Is the hassle of the semi closed and bloated amazon environment worth it for the (maybe) faster speed?

    Can't change volume offset while in settings for apps like Netflix or Google play movies.

    Just got an onkyo receiver and some bookshelf speakers. Hooked up to Sony xbr55x800e. There's a slight delay in the audio I guess just due to processing time? Video is ahead. Tried to go to settings and change the volume offset but it's locked on zero. Not sure if I'm able to change it when I actually use an input. But I use apps on the TV most frequently so I'd like to find a solution to this. Maybe there's a setting in the onkyo but I can't find it.
