Scrcpy (v1.11) - Layperson's installation instructions Posted: 22 Nov 2019 12:38 PM PST For anyone else who is having trouble getting Scrcpy (v1.11) to work, below are instructions. In my case, I have Windows 7 64bit Pro Service Pack 1 and a Motorola G4+ (Android version 7.0).
Read this (year-old) comment chain for extra details and suggestions if it still doesn't work. I'm not sure if they'll apply to this version to be honest. If you get an error when you launch Scrcpy, google it. Here's the list of features, configurations, and shortcuts. [link] [comments]

What do you want most for the Pixel 4a? Posted: 22 Nov 2019 12:08 PM PST I'd say battery life is probably the biggest request, but honestly, I'm mostly looking for the return of Nexus-era pricing. Thoughts? Edit - I should have just said "cheap". I want it to be cheap. And have a fingerprint reader. [link] [comments]

Extraordinary Service From Google! Posted: 22 Nov 2019 03:21 AM PST So the most amazing thing just happened to me. My girlfriend dropped her phone and cracked the front screen. She's had a Pixel 4 XL purchased from an Australian retailer for about 2 weeks now since release day. I thought I'd message Google on their online Pixel help chat and ask them if they could offer me a cheap front screen replacement. To my absolute amazement they offered to replace the whole phone at no cost even offering free pickup of my cracked screen phone from my door. Broken phone picked up on Tuesday and a new phone was delivered by Thursday! My girlfriend had been using my 2 XL since launch to take photos when we are together and she explained the whole story on the online chat. We told the rep. that the 4 XL was the first Pixel phone that she had purchased and she absolutely loved the photo quality. Some of the best service I've ever had outside of Apple and even Apple I don't think would offer a free phone replacement for a broken screen. [link] [comments]
iPhone users who switched to Android: What would bring you back to iOS? Posted: 22 Nov 2019 01:23 AM PST For me it would be a file system, home page organization, and a way to put apps in a drawer. The rest I could possibly get from jailbreaking. [link] [comments]

Got a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 with Keyboard Case at Walmart for $159.99 in store. Posted: 21 Nov 2019 09:58 PM PST Maybe check your local Walmart? I can't believe the deal I got. Edit : Proof Receipt https://imgur.com/a/d5ZFetb Update: I was just at Walmart again and where I found this one, they had Tab s5e and Tab S6's in it's place. However, the $159 price sticker was still there so they may get more in stock for that price. [link] [comments] |
