    Google, it's an accessibility issue that we can't change font size for the UI.

    On Android, you can change the font size system wide. Why can't we do that on Android TV? I'm often not wearing my glasses at night and I'm having to squint to try the navigate my CCwGTV. Have resorted to using my phone and just Casting it but I'd prefer to use the TV apps.

    Finally Giving up on my Chromecast with GoogleTV 😢

    I love my chromecast with GoogleTV, I like the interface, the suggestions, but the apps have problems, and they don't get fixed!

    1. Prime video if you watch anything in UHD, it leaves the chromecast stuck on UHD and you have to reboot it to get back to normal. It has done this for a LONG time, it's clearly never getting fixed.
    2. Paramount+ when you watch DolbyVision shows, 50% of the time it gets jacked up when trying to switch to DolbyVision, stopping the episode and starting again will sometimes fix it, but sometimes you have to reboot. BTW this was also true with CBS all access, so it's done this for a LONG time
    3. AppleTV+ (ya I know) this app somehow causes my TV to reboot, it used to crash on DolbyVision content, so its better now?

    As much as I hate to admit defeat, I just bought an AppleTV 4K, it's apps actually work. I realize this is not google's fault, they don't write the 3rd party apps, but if the third party companies can't make apps that work, then it's not useful to me.

    Google Tv location stuck in USA

    Hello, I recently had bought a google tv and set it up on the google home app that was linked to an address in the states. Recently I had gotten access to Crave, so I was looking to download Crave and Bell apps. I've tried everything, change the location of my google account, new payment info, even tried changing the language to English (Canada) because I read that work with no success. Whenever I go to install the Crave app it says that this device is not supported, and when I go to install Bell Fibe TV it says this app isn't available in your country. My brother who also has a Google TV and is on the same Android TV version is having no issues. Any help?

    Animated screen savers, what are some really good ones?

    I have a hisense u6g, no external droid atm. I want to get some live/animated screen savers. I like fluid art. Example, Roman De Giuli- Magic fluids hdr video on youtube. Not all i'm looking for, like all kinds of stuff. Prefer 4k, no lower than 1440.

    Disable content mirrored on laptop?

    When I cast from Chrome on my laptop to my Hisense U6G TV, the content is still mirrored on my laptop. Is there a way to disable the laptop screen when casting so the content only displays on the TV?

    one more "Xiaomi TV stick problems" question. Weird issue with stick.

    So my TV stick is stuck at black "MI" logo screen.
    And the weird issue, at least weird for me is that if I plug it into power after days of not using it.
    The MI logo screen comes up instantly with pluging in the power.
    It looks like the stick is in suspended state and it gives picture instantly with the power being plugged in.
    I cant reset it by holding "ok" and "back" buttons to get into bootloader because the stick doesnt boot even for a secoond. Just "MI" logo screen instantly with power plugged.

    Anyone had similar issue?
    Is there some kind of way to reset it or at least cause it to purge the memory or something like that. Shortcircuit something or something similar...

    Any guesses as to whether the CNN+ app will work on Android TV?

    I'd like to watch CNN but the current app has never worked. It might be worth signing up for the new CNN+ if their presumably new app will actually open.

    USB doesn't support Android Framework

    I specifically got an USB drive so that I could move all the files from Kodi to it. But to do that I need to be able to access the USB drive which is impossible. I've tried googling a solution but I'm stuck, I have no clue what's going on and how to fix it.

    The moment I plugged it in I got a notif asking if I want to format the drive specifically for Apps usage which I did. I read somewhere that android tvs only read FAT32 files/drives so I bought a specific drive from SanDisk that supports that file type.

    Could anyone please help? I have a Philips android TV.

    Mecool KM6 with Logitech Harmony Elite remote - 'power on' issue

    Today I replaced my old Android box with a new Mecool KM6 Deluxe. On the Harmony Elite Activity I have swapped the old box for the KM6. When I initiate the activity everything fires up except the KM6 and it won't fire up with repeated power toggles unless I go and hold the Harmony remote very close. If I power down the activity, everything shuts down normally including the KM6! So it will shut down normally but I have to hold the Harmony remote very close to start it up, very strange. I know I will probably have to post this on a subreddit for the remote in case the issue is related to that, but I can't rule out that it is related to the KM6 at this stage. Any ideas very welcome!

    So I have roku streaming stick, and it has amazing colors when I am consuming content from it, TV's picture mode settings works as well (HDR, Movie, etc.), however this setting does not work when I launch apps from my default android tv, no setting in picture settings work other than brightness. Can anyone assist? It has way worse colors than roku.

    MI TV 50 4X. Bought in 2020 march. - TV apps were crashing and the system updates were failing. - service engineer comes and tries forcefully update the system using his personal USB which obviously fails - now instead of fixing the software, i am being told to replace the motherboard.

    My sibling has a mi Tv (don't know the exact model but it's about 4 years old). Its a smart tv but it you can't install Netflix on it (surprisingly it does support prime). I know you can just sideload Netflix on it but I want to gift him a fire stick. Is it worth it and would it work with a mi Tv? On googling I can also see a mi stick but don't know much about it. Looking for advice.

    Casting to Android TV keeps ending

    Whenever I cast my screen to my Android TV it works, but then ends after a few seconds. I have no clue what's going on and it's fricking annoying, any advice/help would be appreciated.

    Phone: Google Pixel 6 Pro TV: TCL 50P715K

    Any other info needed just ask, but I think I've given all the relevant info.

    XBR65X850F reboots upon startup

    Our Sony Bravia XBR65X850F was fine when it had Google TV. I like to not update the software often to prevent software breakage issues that can happen with updating. Well I decided to update and it updated to Android TV. It says android version 9 now. Before it had 8. After updating to 9, my tv shows "android tv" and has these colorful circle things spinning when you turn the tv on. Then it will either shut off and I have to turn it back on.

    Other times when I go to watch tv, it wont turn on at all from the remote. I have to keep hitting the power button on the remote to get it to finally respond. It didnt do this before updating to android 9.

    Whats going on? My tv is in warranty via extended warranty.

    I tried doing a factory reset as sony suggested but same issue.

    Remap Controller button on Hisense 65U8G (2021 model) remote

    So I am wondering if there is a way to map the Netflix button on the remote to switch to HDMI 3 on my tv. Button Mapper does recognize the button but I am not seeing a way to map it to an HDMI.

    Any thoughts or is this just not possible.

    So the problem is when I open the app I go to network then I try to add my Google drive but when I try to sign in it says sign in with a supported browser I made sure java script is enabled on Chrome I even tried a different browser but got the same error
