    I Hate Baba is You!

    Posted: 18 Mar 2022 08:12 PM PDT

I fucking hate Baba is You. I play it for like 5 to 20 minutes and then I rage quit in shear annoyance, convinced that I hate this damn game. But then, when I'm trying to just move on and continue with everyday life, those fucking puzzles seep into my conscious from somewhere. And then I have to play, just to check what my subconscious threw up. And then, eventually, I pass a level and I feel smart as fuck. This cycle has been going on for a while now and I don't think I'm that far in. It's like a mental illness.

    Any good tools for this?

    Posted: 19 Mar 2022 10:01 AM PDT

I am looking to find an app that will allow me to translate my screen in real time, because I am playing the Japanese version of some games, but I don't myself speak Japanese. If anyone knows of any apps that would be of help, let me know. I don't really have all the time to learn Japanese, so an app like this is my best bet.

Note: I chose the Help tag because it feels like it fits in that.

How do you guys discover new games to play that you can like. Play Store is filled with trashy games.I don't have any personal favourite genres but I prefer games that can be played offline.

What phone can play Genshin smoothly without throttling / fps drop

    Posted: 19 Mar 2022 05:31 AM PDT

    Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy a Gaming Phone for this game.

Anyone can recommend a phone that doesn't heat up and can play this game on highest settings with no stuttering/lag?

I know one phone that can play this game smoothly and it is Red Magic 7 from a youtube video I saw. Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance and please share.

Cant click emails as choice for account to use on new games.

    Posted: 18 Mar 2022 10:51 PM PDT

I downloaded the Pikmin game today and experience this issue. I also couldn't buy something on another game a few weeks ago. The menu to select my card, or email when creating a new account pops up, with my emails, but I can't touch them. I can touch off the screen to close it, but I can't click them at all. Any ideas?

Interactive 3D augmented/holographic Sphere diy idea

    Posted: 18 Mar 2022 10:20 PM PDT

I have an idea for a completely interactive interface that loads up in front of you that you can walk around in with voice commands. Also has an A.I that talks to you through clouds and another A.I to talk to by tricking a computer animation to talk at the same time hopefully as the alexa

In the room you lay down a grid carpet and place a 4 way dance mat controller on the middle of the floor and build up "walls" in a octagon shape around the carpet could use a cheap material like a heavy cardboard then your projector screens go on and around it. Now the hard part Place cheap projectors around in the circle to cover the whole area from either the ceiling or the floor and connect your computer to the projector's as one whole extended screen so it projects in perfect circle (I would pick projectors that have keystone adjustments so you can angle them properly) After that you could set up some speakers behind the walls for the audio. For the ceiling buy some Govee lights and stick them in a zig zag pattern on some very lightweight cardboard that you can staple to the ceiling and staple light handfuls of polyfill over the whole area for the effect of clouds. Also you would need a computer or android strong enough to run the everything so For the software side of things could use jarvis and setup the govee lights to use the computer as the devices microphone so when jarvis talks the clouds light up simple. Also maybe some wii mote sensor bars around the top of the walls if theres no such thing as an air glove

So you need a computer that loads kodi on boot with (advanced launcher add on) to make shortcuts to the main screen. You have a menu item on the main screen that just says "Explore" and that would lead to a sub menu, with a bunch of stuff like one that says "walk the earth" (loads google street maps) or "play a game of quidditch" (loads up gamecube game harry potter quidditch world cup) all of this would be controlled with the dance mat on the floor and a one handed controller like a wii mote or an airmouse you wear as a glove and game controller, the idea would be to see what you can control with the mat and wii mote/ airmouse, or voice and call it something and add it to the kodi build. For instance for the other "A.I" I was going to use nividas 3D face software program through unity to emulate the mouth movements of an alexa. With a microphone leading straight to it.) this way you have a 3D talking head in augmented reality. Things like that would make another "Program" you can control with either your feet, hand or voice. Thank you for your time, if this doesn't belong please help me re-direct it so I can find someone with the same or similar interests. Thanks

Any fans of cloud gaming here?

    Posted: 18 Mar 2022 07:55 PM PDT

I just bought a Razor Kishi control pad for my Android phone and signed up for Xbox Game Pass. Now I can stream and play like 50 Xbox / PC games directly on my phone. The experience has been delightful so far and I'm really surprised this not a more popular form of gaming right now.

Pros: - instant access to AAA games <2 years old on your phone - no installation required, no space constraints - any game in the Play Store pales in comparison - even better than most Switch ports - no overheating or battery drain

Cons: - lags once in awhile even though I have fiber optic internet and 5ghz wifi - only 1080p 60fps max - limited gaming selection compared to PC or Xbox

Net: great for casual couch gaming, not a replacement for your main console or PC, lower performance than Steam Deck.
