A dungeon crawler where you get stronger every time you die?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 06:37 PM PDT

    Title is self-explanatory.

I am looking for a dungeon crawler (or something similar) in which your character goes stronger every time you die.

Graphics aren't important to me. Can be either an action game (like shattered pixel dungeon) or event a boardgame with card or dice, like One Deck Dungeon.

Can be premium game or F2P but I hate every kind of forced micro transaction for progression.

    Thanks in advance!!

Any mmo like ogame where I can focus on resources and defences rather than attacking?

    Posted: 04 Oct 2021 10:48 AM PDT

Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is any mmo like ogame where I can focus on mining and building defences. I don't really like attacking, that's why I loved ogame since both mining with some farming and just attack were both viable strategies

Is there any way to backup my save data of Ice Cream Jump? This game doesn't let me create an account or link it to my Google Play account, but I'd like to restore my progress after I factory reset my phone.

    Best controller for aiming

    Posted: 04 Oct 2021 12:03 PM PDT

Hey everyone! I came here for everyone's opinion on their favorite gamepad for gaming on android devices. I currently have a gamesir x2 and play xcloud with it as well as some other android games. It works really well except for the analog sticks. It is difficult to get that fine precision as you would with a normal xbox or Playstation controller. How are all of your experiences? Do you have any suggestions on a better gamepad with more precise analog aiming capabilities than the gamesir x2? Thank you all!!!

Home Quest, the only incremental game that managed to get me hooked until its very end and then some, just got a 2.0 update.

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 01:29 PM PDT

I had written here how much I enjoyed playing this game a few months ago. It was still in some kind of beta/early access and while most people agreed with my enthusiasm, they also were afraid that the development was frozen.

Turns out, they have now made a 2.0 beta release, which includes a graphical overhaul and overall revamp of the UI. Not sure about any new mechanics yet, but I'll get to it asap.

Anyway, I think this is an underrated game, although a bit niche. If you like city builders but never really got into incremental or AFK games, this might be for you. I will do my best to help get this game a full release.

Best casual multiplayer games to play with friends?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 11:39 PM PDT

I'm tired of playing games that have a competitive nature all the time, I just want to relax sometimes. I know you can play them casually but sometimes you can't avoid it's competitiveness. What are some good casual games that I can play with friends? Maybe some horror or party games that you can download and immediately get into.

I have created this game based on a childhood competition that was held in my school. The game is still in development mode.

    HOW TO PLAY
We will show images of different objects for some time
Try to remember what you saw in the image
Type all the objects you remember
You score more points on more words
    Have fun!!!

Could you guys be kind enough to provide feedback on this?

[REQUEST] I'm looking for a mobile game that's not P2W and deals with progression, where you get stronger or it gets harder as you go on. Big fan of tower defense games. Graphics unimportant. No shooter games. Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Controller Suggestion

    Posted: 04 Oct 2021 06:19 AM PDT

I'm looking for a telescopic controller(I think that's what those are called), the ones where you put your phone in between and has the controls on the side, and I was wondering if anyone has a good suggestion. Hopefully it isn't something that will break the bank, cause I am aware of such like the Razer Kishi and it is a bit too expensive for me. TIA!

[Request] Genuinely difficult puzzle based games

    Posted: 03 Oct 2021 03:45 PM PDT

Title. I've recently started playing The Witness on steam and my goodness is it a good game. It is so elegantly designed and well thought out, and some of the puzzles are actually difficult. I do find though that just as I start to get challenged then I've completed the zone and that's the extent of it. Sometimes I wish I was pushed just a littleeee harder (even though I do get stuck for extended periods of time).

That's what drives me to this search. I love a proper challenging puzzle, but when I search for difficult puzzle games I get those top 10/15/20/50 lists curated by someone who has never played any of them. I saw a thread with some suggestions, but it was six years ago and none of them are available anymore. One suggestion that seemed rather interesting was SpaceChem, which is no longer available on mobile but apparently "the Sequence" is quite similar if anybody has tried that?

Bonus if it's a simple concept!

GLTools new version not changing settings.

    Posted: 04 Oct 2021 12:30 AM PDT

Hi so I'm trying to run HL2 with the new GLTools version, however no matter what i did, it would still crash at the Valve logo. I tried to apply the same settings for the companion for gltools app, but when i checked the info in the companion app it was still my phone's stock info. Am i doing something wrong? I have a Redmi Note 8 rooted with Magisk.

Prominently featuring Third-person modes for previously First-person shooter exclusive properties that come to mobile is a stupid idea.

    Posted: 04 Oct 2021 01:48 AM PDT

I understand PUBG and Fortnite but other games coming to mobile seem to follow this god-forsaken trend.

COD mobile comes out, a love letter to COD fans, great game to play on the go. Then I notice a "TPP mode" for BR. Okay, like anyone's gonna play that mode, heh.

Then I notice how it is how most youtube content creators play, it's officially endorsed in competitions, it's more prominently featured in official promotional material.

What, the absolute fuck? What the fuck? Okay, wall-kissing and bunny hopping out of cover isn't how COD is meant to be played.

The only TPP content in other stuff are gameplay mods is an obscure mode for that MW2 nobody plays and a cancelled spinoff. COD is a first-person game through and through. Why add a TPP mode? Really a detriment for people who play Battle Royale by splitting the already small playerbase who are around the same region and rank in the first place.

Good thing I mainly play ranked MP, the moment third-person comes to ranked MP, I'm quitting COD Mobile. They gotta stop pandering to illiterate six-year olds who play Free Fire.

Okay fine, I guess you can argue that COD Mobile BR is its own thing, so being mostly Third Person focused shouldn't bother me.

Apex Legends Mobile is in its beta now and unlike COD Mobile is more of a faithful recreation of its PC/console counterpart.

ASIDE FROM THE GODDAMN THIRD PERSON MODE.

Third Person shooter modes for non third person games are cancer, and I hope this does not become a trend for devs and publishers moving forward.

If you complain about how First-Person games don't let you see your clown-ass character skin running around, please look at the mirror.
