Where can testers go to download my app with Internal Testing? Posted: 13 Sep 2021 07:48 AM PDT Google has been harassing me about deactivating my developer account for no activity (still working on my production app) so I made a release of my test app through the Internal Testing feature, which they said will satisfy the activity requirement I set up the email list, and in my console it says "Available to internal testers - full rollout". But how do they actually download my app? Where do they go? I can't find any sort of link I can send them or anything. Google's documentation on this is super cryptic, it does say "You need to share the app's Play Store URL with testers so they can download your app" but provides no info on how to get that URL. Any help would be great, thank you! [link] [comments]

Banner Ads doesn't work in RecyclerView which is feed data via the LiveData Posted: 13 Sep 2021 07:30 AM PDT After breaking my code for last 2 days I have come to the conclusion that we cannot apply banner/native ads to a RecyclerView which is getting data from LiveData object. Wonder how TrueCaller does it and what is their architecture ? [link] [comments]
Posted: 13 Sep 2021 06:49 AM PDT So I have basic navigation bar to switch between fragments and wanted to know how do i make different API calls or even just one API call in fragment code itself. I tried to create the thing I wanted with mainActivity.kt in separated project but when I copy paste cody to fragments project it doesent work (not sure if I call in mainActivity.kt and send it to fragment or do it all in fragment itself and where to write what in oncreate/ oncreateview ..) ? Any advice / links /videos? [link] [comments]
Does anyone from you (professional) devs use TDD in your development cycle? Posted: 13 Sep 2021 06:39 AM PDT Pretty much the title. If not what kind of development do you use or what do you think is the best way to develop the apps in? I will appreciate your opinions [link] [comments]

Another app using my screenshots Posted: 12 Sep 2021 08:43 AM PDT I just found out that one of the app which has similar functions as mine is using my screenshots in Google Play. It took me 3 days to come up with the whole screenshot idea and design it and now another app is using it without my permission. I informed the developer to remove the screenshot from their listing but I didn't get a reply. The app is getting into the charts and already downloaded 50k times. I think people are confusing it with my app which is pretty popular. What action should I take at the moment ? Will filing a copyright resolve the issue? What suggestions do you give? Question about Approving an app, not working on the Work playstore. Posted: 12 Sep 2021 05:11 PM PDT We have an app that is currently in Open Testing. I am needing to install it on many company tablets via MDM. I have everything working correctly with any other app, but when I try to "Approve" our app for use in play.google.com/work it sits and spins. Seriously every other app I try Approves in seconds and then is available for me to push via MDM. But ours does not. Any insight would be appreciated. The app is available/viewable in play.google.com/work - When I press Approve button, popup appears (as normal) with another approve button on the popup. Pressing that second Approve button is what hangs. Does it matter that the app is in open testing? Or is there something different that we need to specifically do to allow Android For Work to work with our app? [link] [comments] |
