- I logged into the "Soundiiz" app using my Google details and instantly got a notification that my Google account was signed into on an Apple iPhone device. Should I be worried?
- None of my google promps are responding. They appear, but frozen, so I cant do anything.

- I recently replaced the battery of my ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1..It supposed to have a 5000mAh capacity..but AccuBattery says it only has 55% capacity (2,755 mAh)..I just want to know if the issue is with the phone itself? or the battery is just faulty..i hope you guys can share your opinion on this

I noticed this while trying to log into one of my games, and the prompt that asked for which accounts you want to use was frozen. I went and clear both the data and cache of google play games, google play store and google play services. I also restarted my device. | Can't Delete Unwanted "Suggestive Text" Posted: 25 Aug 2021 09:11 AM PDT Normally you can remove learned words by long pressing on the word and pressing 'OK' when the system prompts you. My reddit username is something I never want saved in my suggestive text for obvious reasons. I was able to remove it twice, but each time it seems to come back as a suggestion, and now there is no dialog box when I long press the suggestion. Posted: 25 Aug 2021 11:18 AM PDT I'm using AirDroid Personal to remote control a rooted Galaxy S3 on Android 4.4.2. AirDroid remote control was working perfectly until a few weeks ago. Now the on-screen buttons (such as back button and home button) no longer work on the remote-controler's interface. For example, I can launch an app or access the settings, but I cannot back out or exit the app or menus. The only way out is to physically access the remote controlled device. I normally have my font set to one increment away from the smallest but I. Google SMS it now looks several points larger than in any other app. Signal, Facebook Messenger, even Google Chat respects the font size. But for some wise reason Google decided to update their SMS app without warning and changed this. Does anyone know how to decrease the font size in Google SMS? [link] [comments] |
| Controll broken screen Android phone from pc through usb. Posted: 25 Aug 2021 09:45 AM PDT Hi everyone, I recently managed to drop my phone, and the display doesn't work(it is black). Apart from that, everything would work properly, like I still receive messages and other notifications, and the touchscreen is working too. The only problem is that i can't see anything. I was wondering about some sort of a pc application, that is able to mirror the display just by plugging in the usb cable, or somerhing that can controll the device. I guess they thought my phone was 3G (hadn't updated my phone with them in a while, they might think it's still an iphone 4 or Moto X Pure). "to turn on chat features from Google".. Two options.. either "use without chat features" or "agree". I dont want it, so I chose use without.. but the problem is, it keeps coming back, asking again and again. Minutes between each time. And I've looked in the settings, but there's no option to turn it off, or make it stop asking me. Why is it happening? How do I make it stop? | Queries from a new android (oneplus Nord n100) user Posted: 25 Aug 2021 01:57 AM PDT I recently moved to android from iOS so I am not familiar with the UI and I gotta say it's been hard to adjust to but it's a fresh shift away from ios. Here are a few of my problems that I just haven't been able to do away with. 1) I've been trying to close the calculator app for a few days now, but it won't budge. All other apps close but not the calculator app. Also when I pull up the app history tab thing the calculator app is the only app with a lock above the app window. I don't have a problem with the calculator being open in the background at all times it doesn't really make a difference, it's just annoying and unsatisfying to close all apps at the end of the day BUT the calculator app. 2) In the default OnePlus skin the number 1 in the time widget is Always colored in the same color as the accent color that i set earlier. I'm happy with the layout of the widget but I just don't want the ones to be red and the rest to be white. There have been multiple times where the time is displayed as 14:00 with the 1 in red and the 4 and zeroes in white, in the split second of looking at the phone for some reason I ignore the differently colored 1 and in that split second of looking at the time I register the time as 2 hours earlier. I slept at 18:00 thinking it was 8pm in the evening and woke up at the real 8pm, was confused as shit. Not a one time thing, took 4 similar events for me to realize what the hell was going on. 3) I know this is a budget phone and thus the haptic feedback won't be topnotch, but is there any way to turn it down a bit? The haptic feedback is so bad that when I text even on silent mode people wearing headphones can hear the hums of the motor. I don't want to switch it off, i want haptic feedback (used to and spoilt by he iphones excellent haptic feedback especially with the 7 and 8's button) but not this loud and clunky. I understand haptic feedback is why we don't feel like we're just tapping on a piece of glass while using our devices, but this phone feels like a vibrator in my hands. thanks for your time! Posted: 24 Aug 2021 09:18 PM PDT Unlocked phone purchased from Motorola (Moto Power) no issues on Verizon but switching to Total Wireless, about 80% of the time, I get 3 quick tones and a busy signal when trying to connect a call. This happens in a variety of settings and locations. Data and SMS/MMS always work fine, and I can receive calls, just can't make calls 80% of the time. Support confirmed SIM and has had me reset network settings, reset phone etc. No fix. Any ideas? Running Android 11. [link] [comments] |

| Messages app and sending pictures Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:57 AM PDT Google pixel 4 XL I changed provider and now I can't send pictures with the Messages app from Android. Well.. I can but they are not going through, the receiver is not receiving them. The size limit for sending pictures is smaller with this new provider. 3MB according to their website. I now need to use Textra, because Textra allows to set a limit for the size when sending pictures(2 MB) Is there a way to do this with Messages. I looked everywhere and can't fix this. The developers of the app has specifically given a list of Samsung phone which is only compatible for the app. However one of the member of my team has bought a bunch of Samsung A11 phone with Android 10 installed. Samsung A 11 is not on the approved list of phone that is compatible to the app. So i was reading about building custom ROMs Is that a good idea for my situation? Or i was thinking ( sorry i am new to android) I buy an approved Phone, make the necessary changes, clone the OS image to the A11s Can i do it for android like how one can do it on Windows or Linux? | Music files are sometimes out of order Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:47 AM PDT I've noticed this problem across two different music player apps, Shuttle+ and Pulsar. All the tags are correct, and in MusicBee it's listed properly. It happens whether or not I use MusicBee to sync files or if I manually drag and drop them via Windows. I'm on a Note 20 Ultra, but this also happened on my old LG V40. | Samsung phone broke - recover data help! Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:07 AM PDT Just broke my phone. It landed flat on the screen (it has some protection, but minimal). The glass didn't break. The screen went black. It makes a connection sound and parts of the screen light up very briefly (not a discernable picture) when I connect it to a computer with a USB. But the computer says something is wrong with the unit and it cannot access the data. It seems to still be on (to whatever degree it's on). Should I turn it off, or should I charge it to keep it on? I have a new issue with my Samsung Galaxy S9+ Android phone that is making me crazy. What started happening is that when I would remove my covid mask, or maybe take off my shirt, or sometimes even tap my glasses, (all of which bumps the mics on my hearing aids) my phone would open Google assistant and start talking to me, asking me how it could help me. It was driving me nuts! So I decided to fix it once and for all by turning off Google Assistant. But now when I do whatever triggers it, it tells me this: ""when it's safe, you'll first need to tap the notifications. then you can let headsets work with the google assistant" I want it to STOP already!
