App is Message+ There is also a microphone icon to the left of the group chat header, and I don't know how it got there. When someone sends a message, it says "broadcast:" and then displays their message. The chat had been working for years, but all of a sudden this happened. Does anyone have an advice? Thank you!! | Cracked and black screen after a fall. Posted: 17 Apr 2021 11:01 AM PDT Hello, so my phone fell flat on its face to the ground, and it seems the screen was cracked from inside, the glass protection does not show a huge physical crack or anything similar. When I try to unlock it, the screen is black, but it shows like a green fade sometimes over the bottom of it. So i can't unlock it or anything with my fingers. | Apps not working in background. S20 Posted: 17 Apr 2021 10:54 AM PDT All apps, specifically Google Maps and Youtube are not working when put in the background. Example, I open maps and set navigation, then lock my screen or press home. App will give directions for a few minutes then tell me that the connection was lost. Youtube will play audio for a few minutes then will need to be brought back up for loading to resume. Data saver is off, and I have restarted my phone. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |

Whatsapp, im not receiving messages, Whatsapp calls, until i open the app. Is there a reason behind it? I've used this iPhone 6 for the last 5 years, and I am wanting to upgrade for a better camera. I am considering the Google Pixel 4a because of its better camera, headphone jack, and price. However, I was wondering if androids have an app that is like the Musi app on iPhones. The Musi app basically allows us to listen to youtube in the background and make playlists. This is critical because a lot of the music I listen to is only found on youtube, and I wouldn't want to end up having to pay for youtube premium. [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 17 Apr 2021 09:40 AM PDT I installed the app with a VPN and a different logged in Google Play account, then after install I deleted that Google account and have my main American account left. The app page on my main American acc says it's not available in my country but I am able to either uninstall or open it... currently it's on the latest update/version... but my concern is will Google Play allow me to further update the app when a new version is available sometime in the future while its technically region locked for me or will it just stay on the current options of 'Uninstall' and 'Open'? | Xiaomi Mi A2 glitching and restarting like crazy Posted: 17 Apr 2021 04:24 AM PDT Hey guys, I have a Xiaomi Mi A2 128GB model, running Android 10. My phone has been really buggy lately. This morning, I shut down my phone so I could focus on my work, and it was charging happily, till I checked it and the phone was really hot. I immediately took it off charging, removed the case and let it cool. The case is the standard rubber case that came with the phone. And when I restarted my phone, it started malfunctioning. When I press the power button, instead of turning off the screen, it gets long pressed where the restart, shutdown etc buttons show up. And then it keeps glitching. It won't respond to the power button and randomly activates the camera on the phone from the lock screen. Then it just restarts over and over. I need help guys. I love this phone, but it's annoying what's happening. Edit 1: The phone has been in a constant restart loop. I'm waiting for the battery to die so it'll finally stop. Edit 2: I just figured out that my power button has become hypersensitive. It responds without actually pressing the button, but rather just by touching. [link] [comments] |

I don't want to enable RCS Resetting the Messages app doesn't solve. Edit: the carrier has already enabled RCS. Immediately thought that my screen was broken and removed battery, restarted phone to verify. And then I was shocked with that message "encryption unsuccessful" (https://www.androiddata-recovery.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/hqdefault.jpg). To my knowledge, I know that phone encryption had triggered and was somehow aborted, thus cannot access my phone data again. But, my big question how phone encryption had triggered automatically ?? Hint : the internet was OFF during night. Came with the gloryfitapp and now it has a persistent notification about how many steps i have taken. Is there a way to disable this without turning off all notifications for that app?
