| Samsung Smart Lock Solution (Location) Posted: 19 Mar 2021 08:22 AM PDT Hopefully this can help many. I've had issues with Smart Lock for years when it came to trusted locations. I went looking for optimized system apps. I don't know if you need to remove battery optimization for both but that's when it started working. Go to your settings and search for "Optimize battery usage". Once you're in the list, change to "All". I can't remember if you have to enable to see system apps so check that first. Smart Lock seems to be working now. Do remember that some apps may impact this feature due to extra security settings. You also need to have location enabled obviously. I also found the phone locked when first put on/plugged in to charger. The phone will lock every 4 hours anyways as a security measure part of this feature (or that's how I understand it.) Cheers. EDIT: I own a Samsung Galaxy S20+ in Canada [link] [comments] | ||
