Looking for a good MUD or MUSH style game on mobile or that is mobile friendly.

    Posted: 10 Mar 2021 07:32 PM PST

I have enjoyed playing MUDs in the past and even enjoyed a lot of Kingdom of Loathing in the past. Is there anything that is decently populated that would either run in a mobile browser or that had a phone app? I am also ok with a regular MUD and a decent mobile client but I'd rather have something a bit more flashy if possible.

    [REQUEST] Portrait Action RPGs

    Posted: 11 Mar 2021 09:54 AM PST

Few years ago someone asked this same question and got several answers. While some of the suggestions back then still stand, I wonder if in the last few years there's anything new that's worth to be played.

    What I'm looking for:

    • Action RPG playable with one hand.

    • The combat should be somewhat engaging, with dodge roll, various skills, boss fight that punishes you for going full Leeroy Jenkins, etc.

    • Some sort of progression, doesn't matter if it's in the form traditional leveling system or more roguelike progression.

    • I prefer a solo, offline game. But even if it's online, the main point of the game should NOT be pvp.

    • Any kind of visual is fine. Story isn't important. Also don't care whether it's free or paid, although I tend to avoid Gacha games. I don't mind ads.

I hope I can find some great gems from the replies. Cheers!

My game "Fishy" is free on Android

    Posted: 11 Mar 2021 09:10 AM PST

It may look like a familiar game that most I'm sure will be quick to say it's a specific game, but it's not I assure you. Try it out and if you like it, then awesome, if not then that's cool too. Just trying to get enough people to download it and share.

BTW if you share the game on Facebook (instructions in the game itself) you'll unlock a free Fishy to play with! :)

All the assets in this game I drew by hand using my Sketchbook app on my iPad and Apple pencil, so if anything I enjoyed making this game by simply drawing it up! Have fun trying out Fishy!

Can't recall a dark fantasy RPG name

    Posted: 11 Mar 2021 07:54 AM PST

I even don't know if it is available on PlayMarket (sorry in advance, it may be iOS exclusive, but I'm sure I played it on Android too so I post it here) anymore, played it long time ago. It was a dark fantasy game, mostly text-based with choices and, IIRC, some kind of tactical RPG component (with funny token-like character and monster markers). There were three protagonists: two males and a female. Probably the most memorable part of all that is that you can choose their sexual orientation (and, as I mentioned before, strange visuals of the tactical map).

Immuno was originally built with PC in mind but we realized it would likely have a larger appeal on mobile and re-mastered the game to optimize it for mobile play. We've been working on and off for about 4 years, with the original release on PC around 2018.

We received a lot of feedback back then so we took the time to refresh the entire game, including converting the main art to be portrait instead of landscape, updating to touch controls and fixed quite a few bugs. All of these changes take time since we all have day jobs and families (same with many of you, I imagine!).

IOS rejected it this year since it's a virus-related game coming out during a pandemic. Never mind that they approved the original version in 2018…. But that is why it's only available on Google Play for now.

Thanks again to anyone who takes the time to test it out for us! :)

    Great little unique roguelike LoopHero

    Posted: 10 Mar 2021 01:32 PM PST

hey guys first time ever posting here, just really wanted to share this with you guys :)

    https://fourquarters.itch.io/loopathero-demo

game play consists of your hero moving around automatically in a "loop" while you build up the environment around the loop which will cause different effects and spawn different mobs. you collect resources that you can then use to build up your main town.

its free currently for android and there's a paid PC version on steam here:

Looking for a Card Dueler that uses a single, shared deck instead of prebuilt decks to play solo or against my SO (p

    Posted: 10 Mar 2021 04:34 PM PST

I love card duelers, especially in-person. But I've long since lost interest in collectible card games and LCGs. Now, I just want to play self-contained games preferably with a single shared deck that both players draw from and can get to know together. I know that there are some great deckbuilders on mobile too, but that's not what I'm looking for either. Specifically card games with no deck construction or deckbuilding. So, think Schotten Totten, Innovation, Omen, the Fox and the Forest, the North, Radlands, Epic, and classic trick-taking games (not looking for a deck of 52 game though).

Hopefully something we can play against one another on our own phones - or I can play online against randoms or against AI.
