    Hello there. I have a Sony Bravia KD-55X7500H in which the time and date always resets and thus, disconnects the wifi connection. I noticed that the date always resets to the device's kernel version (mine is January 4) Could there be a significance or should I have it replaced?

    JBL Link bar factory reset in setup

    Hey guys,

    I just bought a JBL Link bar, I know not the most flawless product.

    I followed the setup process and all worked well, but it didn't listen to my "Hey google" commands, so I decided to factory reset it from the menu.

    But now after the factory reset I keep running into an issue during setup where it says "network_name can't connect to internet". If gives me this error with WiFi as well as with ethernet. Network is working fine so that can't be it.

    So Im basically stuck in the setup now and I'm looking for something along the lines of a hard reset button combo or anything since I don't see any reset pinholes on the body.

    All help appreciated.

    EDIT:

    The error is also present when connecting to my phone's hotspot on either 2.4 or 5ghz.

    Can't save videos to playlists

    Since the last update, I have lost the ability to save videos to playlist. There used to be an option "save", but not any more.

    I can save videos in the main view by "click and hold" which opens a new menu on the right hand side (not very intuitive), but not so in the playing screen.

    Am I missing something?

    I have a philips 50pus7304 tv and app version is 2.13.08/web_20210210_00_RC01

    Is there a way to update to the new Android TV UI (not google tv)

    I have a TCL android rv but I think because Of my location, I won't be getting the update anytime soon.

    Is there any other way to get the new Android TV UI ?

    What's the difference between the Google tv launcher and the "new" android tv launcher?

    I have the CCwGTV and am trying to figure out what is the difference between this "new" android tv launcher some people are talking about. From the pictures they look exactly the same??

    HDMI compatibility via chain of accessories

    Let's say I've got an HDMI streaming stick. Preferably a CCwGTV, but others still apply.

    It is connected to an HDMI switch 2in-1out with a gaming console on other input.

    The switch is connected to a HDMI audio extractor, leading audio to the audio system.

    HDMI out connected to a HDCP Emulator/dummy with a passthrough. Essentially this should do the HDCP handshake, even if TV is off.

    Then the emulator out goes to the tv screen.

    Summary:

    AndroidTV streamer -> HDMI Switch -> HDMI Audio Extractor -> HDMI Dummy with passthrough -> TV Screen.

    The idea behind this monstrosity to have Android tv and Gaming Console working as a smart speaker even if the TV is off.

    What issues will i have because the chain is long and full of terrors?

    I'll start:

    • HDMI-CEC will not work
    • [unconfirmed] HDCP handshake will fail more times than comfortable resulting black screen
    • [unconfirmed] Desynchronized audio and video
    • [unconfirmed] Video latency unbearable for gaming

    The TalkBack accessibility shortcut keeps enabling out of nowhere

    I have AT&t Android TV and when using the Apple remote for some reason unless I hit a certain series of buttons on either the Apple remote activates the shortcut but when I check in the settings there's no inputs activated how do I stop it from enabling
