/r/AndroidGaming needs your help finding game discords!

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 09:13 AM PST

    Hey all!

I haven't posted here in a while, hope you're all okay (and enjoying the extra time to play games..!)

As some of you know, we have a wiki of Android game Discord servers, which is mirrored in the #game-discords channel of our Discord. Lots of these are great for chatting about the game with others, sharing progress etc. These lists are both fully mod run, meaning they're missing a LOT of games.

So, I'd like to expand on these with YOUR help. I'll be going through the wiki & channel and making sure all the links work, user counts are up to date etc, but you can help out by finding Discord servers for new games.

I'll be giving away reddit gold to a few people in this thread, as a little thank you to whoever helps out tons with new servers. Here's the requirements:

    • The game must be on Android (duh!)
    • Please share the game's play store link AND discord URL.
    • Please check the current list before submitting.
    • If the server is partnered, please share the custom URL. Otherwise, a non-expiring link is OK.

Alternatively, any suggestions / recommendations / whatever are welcome :)

    Thanks!

Trying to remember a dungeon-crawl Sim game I read about

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 10:49 AM PST

I remember reading about a Sim type game where you set up a dungeon crawl map and then your heroes automatically tried to make it through. The game sounded like it was based around trying to balance how hard the dungeon was, to get them the most treasure and Xp, without killing them.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Is there any other game that's like this one?, This is US conflict and it's one of the only games I could find that's similar to PC style RTS games and I love it, the game feels rather lacking after you play it for a while though

Looking for a non-gacha saint seiya awakening

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 10:17 AM PST

    Hi everyone!

Lately I've been playing saint seiya awakening on my phone and I like almost every aspect of it, except for the gacha p2w part.

I was wondering if there were a game with similar mechanics, but without the gacha parts.

Essentially turn based combat with a lot of different units and customization, PVE and PVP and reasonable matches duration (which cuts off a lot of ff tactics-like games).

    Thanks! :)

Stardew mod to freeze time on android?

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 07:51 AM PST

The only thing that bugs me about this game is the time limit, forcing me to go to sleep and start the next day. I understand why it exists and how most people enjoy it but I would like to remove this restriction. Have googled and found old guides with outdated mods, and I'm scared of breaking the game.

Is there a working up to date method of actually missing stardew on android? And with the freeze time mod?

    Portrait Suggestions

    Posted: 19 Feb 2021 05:00 PM PST

Looking for a game to play in portrait mode. RPG is preferred and Gachas are okay. It seems like every game is in landscape nowadays and I really like the portrait feel. Something I can open up and mess around in everytime I have extra time and am away from my PC. All suggestions appreciated!

Looking for a game like 'World of Warriors'

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 01:07 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

My wife and me really loved 'World of warriors' on the store years ago and sadly he's not available anymore. The game was basically a RPG with QTE, skills improvements and summoning.

    Thanks for the help!

[QUESTION] Looking for something like Genshin Impact, but is an MMO instead. (Cross-save between Android/PC + Online gameplay with other players.)

    Posted: 19 Feb 2021 10:34 PM PST

I've searched a fair bit but I can't seem to find anything that fits at all.

What I'm looking for is basically an MMORPG with cross-save across Android and PC, so you can play the same character/progress across devices.

Recommend story games where that has multiple endings?

    Posted: 19 Feb 2021 06:41 PM PST

I've already played Forgotten Anne, OxenFree and Life is Strange. I also know that The walking dead, wolf among us, hosted games, AI Dungeon and choice of games are similar games. So, any other games you recommend? Please don't recommend me the money grabbing games like Episodes and Secrets. Also, DON'T recommend me any Visual Novels that HAS NSFW. Have a great day!

    Old rpg hack n slash

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 01:41 AM PST

Anyone ever played an old 2D-RPG Hack n Slash game. The game had three characters, one male and 2 female. The male was a melee weapon user and one female was also a melee. The other female was an elf and used bow and arrow. I just remembered that game but could not find it. Have you guys ever played it or still remember it?

Is there any way to play WH40K: Lost Crusade from the US?

    Posted: 20 Feb 2021 01:30 AM PST

I could be wrong, but as I understand it, the game is not released in the US yet. No idea why, but there are plenty of videos of people playing it and progressing on youtube.

im wondering if anyones been able to install and play it from the US, even if its from a PC with VPN/emulation.

for anyone wondering, its another Clash-type game, and from the reviews, it seems just as p2w as the any of them, which kind of sucks. however on the plus side, its 40k licensed, the graphics are really, really well done throughout the game, even has some CGI bits. it seems to have some cool, unique mechanics thrown in and all kinds of stuff familiar to 40k players, like heroes/commanders with special abilities, wargear, vehicles like predator tanks, and so on.
