I wanted to ask what is Sensebot_log.txt ? is that an android thing ? it's in my documents with 460kb and i am not sure what to do with it. A few things i did - I tried deleting it, and came back later. I restarted and wiped my phone, and it came back. I scanned with malwares and avast and nothing happened. They didn't classify sensbot as bad or it dodge the definitions and libraries. My phone is a samsung J2 Dash with andriod security patch level - February 1 2020 = i tried updated the patch but there doesn't seem to be a new update. My android version is 9. I notice no disable or problems with my phone , no apps crash, no menus or spam or ads popping up, and i don't notice any slowing or sluggishness. I also don't think i been hacked because i i have had this spybot for about a month and nothing has been compromised on my security ends (emails, games, phones, leters, etc etc) What is sensebot_Log.txt. and how do i remove it or change it or just get rid of it ? also i tried a google search and i get very weird results , some say its a trojan and others say it's some kind of Software tools. I cleaned it from app settings and it built up again 600mb after watching some videos again. My Asus Zenfone Live has given me a lot of trouble since I got it from my dad about 5 year ago. I've spent a lot fixing it. The screen, the battery charger port, etc. Now my screen stopped working again, and when I opened it to check it out, there's a cut on the flex cable, but apparently it was there for a long time, even when the screen was working properly. So I got a new phone, but my WhatsApp backup disappeared from my GDrive and now I can't even recover my data through USB. I tried using SCRCPY and Powershell, but to no avail. Is there any other way that I can at least mirror the screen so I can recover my stuff? Tl;Dr: My screen is dead, but phone is working. How can I recover my data? | How to Avoid Pointless Lock Screen when Phone is Unlocked Posted: 08 Jan 2021 10:44 AM PST So this seems to be common behavior when you have a lock screen enabled, at least between the LG and Samsung phones I have near me: Your phone stays unlocked at home using Android Smart Lock. You turn it off. a) You press the fingerprint scanner, you're on your home screen. b) You turn it on with the power button, you get a damn lock screen that shows the phone is unlocked. Why? I don't want this, it's wasting my time swiping. I would disable the lockscreen altogether BUT if I want to be able to use my fingerprint scanner AT ALL I need to have a lockscreen. Any way to avoid this behavior? Can Samsung Good Lock help? Maybe a tasker/macrodroid automation to swipe the pointless screen away, or something that can be done via ADB or even root access if unavoidable? I just want to use my fingerprint scanner for banking and maybe password management apps, while never seeing a lock screen ever, preferably disabled. [link] [comments] |
| Xiaomi redmi note 6 pro problem Posted: 08 Jan 2021 10:22 AM PST Hi, I factory reset my old note 6 pro so I can give it to another, but it won't stay on for longer than a few seconds before switching off. It's on 70% battery but I'm leaving it to charge now in the off chance that helps but does anyone have any idea if I need to do more in factory resetting it ready for others? Strangely when I went to the recover menu and started a factory reset through that (when I first encountered this power problem a few minutes ago) it went a few percentages into the process and switched off! Update: Now it won't power on at all, so a corrupt image?? 🤦♂️ Is there a recovery method I could use? I haven't played with any of the internals, just took the sim card out, factory reset and then took the SD card out. | I need an Android "Brain"..... Posted: 08 Jan 2021 06:32 AM PST OK, heres the context for what Ive got going on to help you better umderstand what Im wanting. I am to find an Android "Brain" so to speak. Im trying to design and build a Ground Command Station for my drones. There are limited few of these being commercially produced. And none of them are even close to what I want. Most are shoddy, half-assed, and bubblegummed together and leave alot on the table. I dont do anything unless Im going all the way. So what Im wanting to build is a completely self-contained, standalone, full service control station With 17" touch monitor, Android OS,Onboard power supply, big time power pack, rapid charger, powered antenna. The works. For the purpose of this post Im only concerned with the Android OS. I cant seem to find a way to, or a device, such as the Crome Box, which could function as an Android "Brain" that centralizes the drone interface and the case alltogether. The Smart TVs and Smart Monitors dont have full Google Play support. Chrome OS isnt supported by the app necessary to fly the drones, and I dont want to have to depend on a phone or tablet to mirror its screen to the touch screen. Its absolutely pointless to do this if you have to run two decives to make it work. 1 drone, 1 device. Does anyone produce something similar to the Crome Box or the Windows Fanless PCs but with Android OS and complete Google Play support. An HDMI out0ut would be nice too. LOl [link] [comments] |

| can I delete the text to speech user data Posted: 08 Jan 2021 09:08 AM PST Sorry if it is a stupid question. I noticed that Google Text to Speech has almost 500mb on user data. The app itself is 40mb. I never use text to speech and I have no idea what this user data might be. Can I safely delete the user data? What could the effect be? I reinstalled the app a few days after and couldn't (and still can't) login... I also tried without root and it doesn't work. I don't have gapps for privacy concerns and I want to run snapchat in shelter, so I was wondering if I could get some google play services working (maybe microG but then not system wide) to login to snapchat, and then I could do a titanium backup in case it happens again. What I really don't understand is that I didn't modify anything and it stopped working for a reason Idk, so I guess it could be play services, that's the only plausible reason I see. I already tried to login from another phone, titanium backup the app and restore it on my current phone but the snapchat app crashes. Would be great to hear from you, if this happened to you or if you know how I could get some kind of play services not system-wide. [link] [comments] |

| Can't see the status bar on my home screen because of white background? Posted: 08 Jan 2021 08:16 AM PST There were some other threads that said just select default theme, and it was case closed, but it didn't work for me. I'm thinking about a workaround where I add a black strip to the top of my wallpaper, but I really don't want to go through all that trouble. I'm using Microsoft launcher and I've set everything to light mode, and I basically just have a solid white background. To be clear, the color of the status bar only changes white for my homepage for some reason. On any other page or if an app is open, the status bar icons are all solid dark colored. But then I swipe over to the homepage and there's kind of a wipe up animation that switches the status bar over to a white color which can't be seen over my homepage background. [link] [comments] |

Ideally, I'd like two USB-A ports to hook up my mouse and keyboard (M+K) at a minimum, but I like the idea of having HDMI out to display on my TV. | Cannot upgrade android version Posted: 08 Jan 2021 05:39 AM PST Hello there, my device is a Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 (SM-J500F). It was running under android 7.1.1. A few days ago I did a factory reset on it. It brought it back down to android 6.0.1 and now I can't update it back to 7.1.1. Like I said it had been reset with the factory reset option, so it is not rooted, every firmware is original, nothing has been changed on it.
