In the security settings of the Google account on computer, there is a "device management" where you can find the missing phone and use three functions to signal, either lock, or erase data. Question to those who have already used this function, if the phone already has a password and I choose "delete data from the phone" using Google account, the password will remain on the device or this function deletes absolutely all data? | Need Help repackaging obb file Posted: 19 Oct 2020 12:31 PM PDT So, I want to modify the obb of a game called Kingdom Rush Vengeance. I changed to file extensive to .zip and it extracts perfectly. After I finish doing my edits, I use "send to" to recreate the zip and change the extension back to .obb, but the file is missing 200 from 700 MB and the game won't launch. I know the obb can be modified, since there's a boatload of money hacks for the game (It's not server-side). How am I supposed to recompile the obb? [link] [comments] |

However as a person who likes to keep dark mode on all the time, i wish there was a way for it to change automatically. I've looked a bit around, and most auto wallpaper apps only allow pictures. Upon disabling app suggestions on the home screen, the area where (my lowest row of apps used to sit before and where the app suggestions were) is now just a black space. However pixel 5 is pretty good with an amazing user experience, stock android, great cameras and IP68 + wireless charging. But for now, it's 150€ more expensive than the OP 7 pro. | A year of my photos are missing? Posted: 19 Oct 2020 10:49 AM PDT I recently switched from an Honor 9 lite to a Redmi note 9s. I am with iD mobile and the new phone is android 10 (MiUi11). I backed up all my data before and got it on my new phone. I thought everything had worked fine, but a year of my photos are missing. They are on Google photos but not my gallery and all my other photos are. I have had no other problems with this phone but these photos missing is really annoying me. Can anyone help? | Posted: 19 Oct 2020 06:35 AM PDT My cellular data suddenly stops working after a bit, and I still have full bars too, but it just tops out of nowhere. I doubt it's my provider because it still works for about 10 minutes until it just doesnt anymore, and I have to restart everytime for it to work for another 10 minutes or so. | Posted: 19 Oct 2020 06:24 AM PDT I have showed it to different technicians. One said it's the camera causing both the problems. The other said it's the flashlight. The third said it's a software fault. It's this confusion which has compelled me to ask this question here. So, the front camera has turned upside down and the flashlight icon has disappeared too. The flashlight doesn't work when I try to use it via other apps as well. Can anyone please guide me on what the problem can be and how can I diagnose and/or fix it? Edit: My phone is QMobile E3Dual, and since I'm sure you guys have no idea what that is, it's running Android 7.0 and the Kernel Version is 3.18.35. [link] [comments] |

I nearly always have a 4g signal and a Google speed test shows a healthy 33Mb/s, but my phone's inbuilt speed tester shows either 0.03KB/s or just 0KB/s, and any social media apps will not refresh. I tried twice, and both times my phone would get stuck on Google logo loading. After that, my phone totally reset and I had to set up my phone again (though all data was still on the phone and I just had to reinstall the apps). | YouTube music controls not appearing on lock screen Posted: 19 Oct 2020 08:31 AM PDT This is an ongoing problem. Every once in a while, as is so common on Android, things just start randomly happening. Right now, it's that my YouTube controls have stopped appearing on my Huawei P30 Pro's lock screen. Normally, with previous Androids, I'd head over to the notifications settings (because clearly, it's logical to place lock screen media controls under 'notification' settings) and enable youtube lock screen notifications. However, this time YouTube is nowhere to be found under notifications. Neither is there an option under it's native app notification settings (yay, notification settings in two places, props to Android engineers on that one, how about adding a third). Any advice welcome. PS. Can't uninstall YouTube on my P30, so ixne on that avenue. [link] [comments] |

And i came home from school today and i saw a deep and big scratch on my phone (i dont have a screen protector yet). And now i cant stop thinking about it it makes me almost cry. I've checked on other devices and they were working just fine. I tried to switch to mobile data and it didn't work as well. I've tried following a few online tutorials, but they didn't work. The issue has fixed itself after a few hours, so I gave it no further thought. But now it has happened again. Are you aware of any potential fixes, or could this be a mechanical damage?
