Does anyone have example of projects using Jetpack with real tests? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 01:45 AM PDT I'm trying to improve my testing game, but most lessons online seem to include only trivial contrived examples of tests, so I was wondering if anyone knew of some open source projects that use Jetpack components and have some real world tests in them to learn from? Devs who have switched from OBB to dynamic bundles, what has your experience been? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 02:58 AM PDT Our app has long suffered from Expansion Pack issues so I was stoked to see that Google is now recommending a new alternative, dynamic play store delivery. How is bundletools working out for you? Is it ready to use reliably as a substitute for the creaky old OBB delivery class? That thing drove me nuts. [link] [comments]
How do you guys get started on a new project? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 08:15 AM PDT Blank project? Custom template? On a related note, how can I respect the licenses of sample code? If I were to take snippets from a MIT/GPL/Apache codebase, do I have to incorporate that license so to speak? [link] [comments]
Which is the best library to starting to consume API Rest in Kotlin Project? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 08:10 AM PDT I'm a student of CS and I now develop a kotlin project, I want to use a Node.js API, but I don't know which library I need to use, I'm new in android development :) [link] [comments]
AndroidStudio inline errors considerably slower since 4.0 Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:35 AM PDT Since AS 4 was released I have noticed any errors that show up in the current file I'm working on take considerably longer to update. Sometimes 10-20 seconds. It was almost always near instant before hand on 3.x Has anyone else noticed this? [link] [comments]
Posted: 16 Jun 2020 03:46 AM PDT The obvious answer would be yes, but I would like to make sure. Thanks. [link] [comments]
How to get started with Android app development? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:23 AM PDT I know nothing about Android and basics of Java. What should I do to get better and equipped with app development knowledge. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Should I start with books or some course? [link] [comments]
Posted: 15 Jun 2020 12:41 PM PDT Today when trying to click on any of my apps from the Play Console homepage, I get a red bar with "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later." I've tried on multiple browsers and internet connections with no luck. Anyone else having this issue? Edit: The guy in the comments who said "Messaged" sent me a message stating he would fix my issue for $50 over paypal. Obviously he is full of it so if someone else is here looking for help don't fall for that. [link] [comments]

[Help Needed] Has anyone created a one to many live streaming app like zoom? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 04:25 AM PDT Hi, Has anyone created a one to many live streaming app like zoom or one to one? Which API service did you use? I do not want to mess with server side self hosted platform but prefer a commercial API service. I was trying AWS but got lost in their products offering. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Supernova for designer-developer handoff? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 01:42 AM PDT Hi, what tools are you using for code-gen and designer-developer handoff? I tried Supernova Studio which can do it pretty well plus it has the option to create animations but I'd like to explore more similar tools. What's your experience? [link] [comments]
