What sort of hardware am I looking at to run Disney+ ?

I've got 5 Android boxes in the house, none of them will stream video in D+, three of them will let me download and play the downloaded file, one won't launch the app and one won't even install (it's 4.4 so meh).
Every other service I use (Amazon, Netflix, iPlayer, YouTube, Zion and streams from my media server) runs fine, just not D+ (I don't have NowTV anymore since my NowTV box died and the app won't run on any of my boxes).
Do I just need a box with a certain newness of Android or are there certified devices? I know I can spend £25 on a firestick but from my 10 minute tinker with (a stock) one a while back they're bit laggy and the control is crap.

Mi Box S - Can't play anything with bluetooth headphones connected

So I had an update pending on my Mi Box for a few months now. Finally updated it and after the reboot I cannot play a single video/stream if I have bluetooth headphones connected. The really odd thing is it's not just stuck paused.

For example, I woke the device up, connected my headphones, opened Netflix, found a show and went to play.. The loading animation appeared and was counting up painfully slow. Eventually getting stuck at 25% every time I tried playing anything. Thinking something was wrong with my internet connection, I turned off my headphones and within about a second the loading completed, and the video immediately started playing. Reconnected my headphones and as soon as they connected, the playback paused and wouldn't resume until I turned the headphones off again.

Went through this cycle about 15 times, trying to power down the system, factory reset and re-pair my headphones, reconnecting them many times, nothing seems to be working. And similar things are happening across any apps I try to stream videos from.

How much faster actually is Android 9 Pie than Android 8 Oreo?

One of the major changes that Google announced was that Pie was optimised for lower-specced devices.

Seeing videos online though, it appears that it is smoother and zippier than Oreo, even on low end Amlogic hardware.

Thinking of getting either a Vodafone TV or Mi Box S for Android Pie. As my Sony X8000D is now three years old and stuck on Oreo.

YouTube's new Hold Click Menu

It's brilliant they brought this new feature in, I had been wanting it for ages, but does anyone else think they did a bad job?

Firstly, the first item on the menu is Play. This is stupid. A single click does play, why would I want to hold click and then click again for play. The hold click should have the things you want most at the top. Pointless.

The next one is Not interested. I never/rarely use this. So why is it second?

Watch later - this is the one most people want to use, this should be at the top! I really don't understand how they got this so wrong.

Does anyone know where I can go to complain or give this feedback to the Devs?

Youtube sometimes let's me watch some live TV stations, but I just want easy access to CNN, Msnbc, Bloomberg, BBC, sky etc. Are there any that do this?

[HELP] Xiaomi mi box turns TV on at night, multiple times

Hello, after i guess new update, my TV box turn on TV at night automatically. I had CEC off then i tried to turn it on for a day, still turning on, then i turned it off but my TV still turns on for no reason. Anyone know how to stop it?

May some apps do that? I am using it for Kuki TV and have installed T-mobile TV which dont work anyway..

I put times to turn TV off when i go sleep but mi box is always on.
