Posted: 06 Apr 2020 08:17 AM PDT As the title, im smartworking at home so I always have the phone in vibration mode or it would ring every 2 minutes. but i need that it could ring when the boss or someone of important calls me, and i cant hear it when i sleep or when im not near the phone. Is there a way to make it ring when specifical contacts calls me and let it in vibration mode for the rest of the things? [link] [comments] |
| Can't unmute phone (ringtones) Posted: 06 Apr 2020 01:38 AM PDT I have an One Plus 7t Pro. In the top of the screen I see a bell with a line trough it. When I swipe down, to see the Icons, I see "phone muted". Somehow I can't fond a way to unmute the phone's ringtones. In the sound settings, I can't change the ringtone volume. I also can't find a setting that would mute the phone. Does anyone know what I'm missing? [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 06 Apr 2020 10:19 AM PDT Yesterday my Samsung A3 had like bunch of problems out of no where. First there is no more sound coming out of it, nothing from Youtube, music or notifications. Then it wouldn't charge because the "battery temperature was low" now it charges if I insist on replug in it. I got no signal can't make calls or receive any. And there's this stop 🚫 sign on the top tray, I dont know what it means. Any idea what's the problem [link] [comments] |

| How do ı stop constant notifications? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 08:55 AM PDT Here's the thing. One of my friends is really used to sending text messages almost word by word. Instead of writing the whole sentence and sending it once, she sends the sentences seperatly. So,it's really annoyying to hear "blip, blip, blip" like every 5 seconds. I don't want to disable notification sounds competely but I just want to make it blip once. So, when she decides to constantly message me, I just want it to blip once. Is there an option like this? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 04:09 AM PDT At 3 am I woke up to my Verizon Google Pixel 2 XL screen flashing on and off, after a few iterations of this, the phone restarted in safe mode and said "the Android system could not power on the phone, a factory data reset is recommended." I reset my phone completely and now it's working fine..but I'm worried this might happen again. Any advice? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

I have an extra phone, and I'd like to clip it to my desk somewhere, and I'm trying to think of some uses for it.. If anyone has any creative ideas (thinking streaming news, weather, or anything 24/7.. or having stats of some sort show in real time) let me know. Also maybe an idea how to install it somewhere. | Why does Smart Unlock almost NEVER work? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 11:05 AM PDT Hi all, I have a Samsung Galaxy S10. Even with I had the S8 I had the same issues. My trusted locations is full of addresses I frequent, as well as a bunch of Bluetooth devices I am commonly paired with. My location is always set to High Accuracy. That said, especially when I am at home, Smart Unlock never keeps my phone unlocked. Occasionally I'll see the "Device is unlocked with Smart Unlock" message but it is super rare. I will open Google Maps and confirm my location and open Smart Unlock settings and add another location more specific than my home address, but it doesn't work. I'm not in any power save mode. It seems like it is just a horribly implemented feature. I thought I remembered a setting with Android 9 that made Smart Unlock work based on connected WiFi SSID but I don't see that anymore. | Phone getting stuck on lock screen Posted: 06 Apr 2020 10:35 AM PDT Since last night (04-04, typically happening around ~11 PM), my phone has been locking up and becoming near unusable. When this happens, it will try to generate the lock screen (clock, phone and camera slider, and PIN keypad), but essentially freeze before finishing. It is still working somewhat, as mobile hotspot is working, the time will occasionally (but not in real-time) update, and I am even getting notifications from background apps. This occurs about a minute after restarting the phone, before it functions relatively normally for restarting. I don't know what to do to fix this other than factory resetting it, which I would prefer to avoid if possible. It has managed to fix itself once already, but that was whenever I left it on during the night it first happened, waking up to find it working fine with low battery. It's an old Samsung Galaxy Note 3, AT&T model (I can't remember the exact code for it), and is definitely past its prime. If this is a symptom of an aging device or whatever it is, I would like to know. [link] [comments] |
| Is it possible to recover year old photos from galaxy s9 through pc? Posted: 05 Apr 2020 10:57 PM PDT I have a galaxy s9 (SM-G960U). I have never done a cloud back up and I was wondering if there was any way I can recover deleted photos between today and a year ago? Possibly through a laptop? I'm not a hacker or anything so I'm assuming this has been done before. If so, please send me a link to how I can do this. I've seen YouTube videos of how people can do it. But they don't say specifically how long ago their pictures were deleted, plus I get stuck at the Rooting process. Also, if it helps, these pictures were transferred to the Keepsafe app. Although, I deleted the photos in the Keepsafe app and the trash bin is empty. Please help! [link] [comments] |

I've wrote a feedback to them hoping for a solution but i didn't receive any. No other app has this problem not even any Google apps like yt and playstore etc. The light mode is hurting my eye.
