Games with clean UI who don't like mobile.

    Posted: 14 Nov 2021 04:37 AM PST

What I most dislike in mobile games is the toxic UI. Lot of screens poping up, many notifications.

I just have installed Wild Rift and Diablo Immortal because these games are clean.

    Any other recommendations?

[REQUEST] [MOBILE GAME] [2010s] Please help me remember the name of this short, depressing game!

    Posted: 14 Nov 2021 06:33 AM PST

Already posted on the "tip of my..." Reddits but posting here to reach as wide an audience as possible.

A few years ago (less than 10 years ago), I played a very short but interesting game on my mobile or tablet (I think). It was like a side scroller game (possibly black & white or very dulled tones). The game was quite dark and depressing. The story was about a young child from a poor family in a very rough, run-down area. The game starts in the family home with the parents at a table but when the child re-enters the home, the parents are dead at the table (from suicide if I'm remembering correctly). Outside the child's home is a large building like a club. To enter, you need to pay three coins. You collect flowers (that fall from the sky?) and give the flowers to strangers in the street in exchange for a coin. At some point, you have the option to help or ignore a small bird which I think is chained to the floor. I can't remember much else but I'm sure the game ends with the child climbing very high (possibly to reach the stars/sky). The child falls from a great height and either dies (if you ignored the bird earlier) or is saved by the bird if you decided to help it.

I know this sounds absolutely crazy but if anyone remembers the name of this game then I'd be very grateful. It's been bothering me for months now and I'm no closer to finding the game again. I have no screenshots or anything. A lot of people have said it sounds like Limbo but it's definitely not that game.

[REQUEST] Any games like the Galaxy on Fire series?

    Posted: 14 Nov 2021 06:37 AM PST

Title. I'm looking for a space battle game where I directly and completely control movement and shooting of one ship (not an RTS battler.) GoF did this really well but it's discontinued and newer phones struggle with it. Any game that is like this but updated? Preferably free as I'm poor.

    Similar to EVE Echoes

    Posted: 14 Nov 2021 03:06 AM PST

I am looking for a game similar to EVE. Complicated, with variety of ships, upgrades etc but it has to be less time consuming and the pvp won't affect my mental stability =) thanks

Does Farmville 3 exist for Android?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 09:58 AM PST

Sorry for daft title but... there's been a lot of "news" about how farmville 3 is / has released for ios and android earlier in November - but I can't find it, it doesn't seem to exist. Even the main farmville site has a link to the game on Play but it goes to FarmVille 3 - Animals, which was released quite a while ago.

So, I'm just confused. Any help?

    thanks!

    [REQUEST] Wild Rift like games

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 08:20 PM PST

Wild Rift is not available in my country (India). The closest similar game I found was Mobile Legends and it is banned in India. So, is there anything else that is similar to these games that I can play until Wild Rift comes out?

[REQUEST] Finding a game similar to Restaurant Story

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 01:34 PM PST

Hey everyone. For those who don't know/remember, restaurant story is a game where you cook food and serve it to your restaurant. It's quite simple but its pretty old now and I kinda want to play a game similar to that.

Anyone got any good recommendations? I'm currently playing CafeLand and it's fun but I keep overloading in food.

    DragonVale Hacks

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 04:07 PM PST

I've been playing DragonVale recently, I thought it'd be fun to play around with the game and get some gems for free, however like most "hacks" for any large game when you look it up all you find is these 6 year old kids telling you to do some abstract action or fill out a survey to get free gems.

Does anyone know a legit way to spoof in app purchases for a game like DragonVale? I figured at first this would be close to impossible given the fact that more than likely all of the gems are handled on the server and not client but I'm sure there are much smarter people here than me.

    Thanks for the feed back!

[Dev] Galactigun: Rhythm Blaster. Just updated my casual rhythm game for Android this week.

    Posted: 12 Nov 2021 10:48 PM PST

[REQUEST] Looking for game like Skullgirls. A fighting or action game that you can grind but it's skill based.

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 01:05 AM PST

I played Skullgirls for more than a year but the recent update made the game to be more grindy than it was. That means that you need to play at least 3 hours a day just to be able to keep up with the grind. Is the most f2p gacha game I found but it gets really repetitive. Do you have any other recommendations that meets that criteria? - action or fighting Gamestyle - learning curve or grind - free or one time buy (no IAP that are necessary for the progress)

    • as an extra I like roguelikes like pixel dungeon any recommendation for games like that would be welcome (I know about almost all mods)

    Thanks in advance!

Rhythm game suggestions without too much grind?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 01:18 PM PST

I'm a fan of rhythm games, I've played Cytus 1 & 2, Voez, Deemo, Tapsonic TOP and Cytoid. With the exception of Cytoid I've noticed the other games require either a lot of grind or constant microtransactions in order to unlock more songs, so if possible I would prefer a game where you just pay once and get everything, similar to how Voez works on the Nintendo Switch.

[REQUEST] Looking for a specific action rpg game.

    Posted: 13 Nov 2021 09:01 AM PST

    It controls exactly like battleheart.

Has a story, starts out with a knight and healer (then a mage and assassin join as well, all other units have to be bought)

Characters could evolve into one of two branches (knight was paladin and berserker, healer i think was nun and guardian angel?)

Had a lot of achievements and buyable items.

Played it on my phone a while back, if anyone remember or has any idea about what I'm talking about, I'd super appreciate it.
