| NVRAM WARNING err = 0x01 problem Posted: 03 Sep 2021 05:06 AM PDT My Oppo F7 Youth can't connect properly to the internet, I can use messaging apps like Telegram or Messenger and Instagram but I can't access play store or browser and every app is stuck on loading or says no connection. It happened when I woke up, tried to search something on Chrome and it says no internet connection. When I found out about the NVRAM WARNING err = 0x01, I got into recovery mode and there was an online update option clicked it and the error was there and says failed to connect to wifi. I tried to restart, remove wifi and reconnect but it didn't work. I was supposed to follow this tutorial https://www.skyneel.com/how-to-fix-nvram-error-in-all-mediatek-devices but the Root Explorer requires to have a rooted phone and I worry that I might get malware if I use Kingroot. I don't know what else to do, tried to google it but I haven't found a working tutorial or article. Is there any solution? Your help is appreciated, thank you. [link] [comments] |
| Disable Drop-down Notifications? Posted: 03 Sep 2021 12:04 PM PDT I'm about to tear my hair out on this one. I want to turn off notifications that drop down from the top of the screen. I still want to be notified in other ways, like the icon appearing at the top, or the dot on the app icon. I just don't want to be interrupted with 1/4 of the screen getting taken up while I'm doing something else. Also to be clear, I don't want to disable the pull down drawer entirely. | Posted: 03 Sep 2021 12:04 PM PDT Phone: LG G7 Carrier (canada): Koodo Seemingly randomly about 3-4 days ago I was no longer able to call or receive calls. The call screen sits on "dialing" but nothing ever happens. If someone calls me, nothing will appear on my phone. On their phone, it rings once and goes to voicemail. Texting and data work fine, which makes me think its not a Koodo issue? I've tried all sorts of resets, save for a fac reset (would rather not). Anyone had a similar issue/know a solution? Thanks! | Posted: 03 Sep 2021 07:09 AM PDT I just bought the Yoga Pad Pro from Banggood because I got tired of waiting for US launch (only for it to launch while I was waiting for shipping). The device is beautiful but the one that came from Hong Kong isn't play store certified and so Netflix and Hulu don't work which sucks !! Does anyone know a way to change the device to show up as certified? The only thing I could see required Magisk which I think requires root and I can't see a clear set of instructions anyway. Apps like Tinder take forever to load people's profiles, news apps just load forever.. My connection is fine and very fast. Chrome works fine and has no issues whatsoever. Even the browser versions of the apps themselves work 100% fine in Chrome. My phone is Huawei Honor View 20. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
| App like faceover for android? Posted: 03 Sep 2021 09:22 AM PDT Up until recently, I still had my extra iPhone laying around so that I could use iOS apps that aren't on Android. I don't have it anymore. The biggest app that I would really like an alternative for is faceover. Faceover is an app that, on the surface, let's you copy a face and paste it onto another body so that it blends with the body. What made faceover different from all the other apps that do the same thing is that I could select anywhere in the photo and put that selection anywhere in the photo and it would blend in. I used it all the time for various photo editing. But I don't like using a layering app bc it just doesn't come out the same. The key features were pretty much selecting anywhere in the photo and it not having harsh edges when pasted. Anyone know of an app that can do that? [link] [comments] |

It works perfectly and boost the sound quality a lot, but to day it started acting weird all the sudden, whenever a bass heavy track plays the volumes reduces and only goes back to normal when there's no bass. | Extremely late to the party, need help with browsers please Posted: 03 Sep 2021 04:35 AM PDT I've always been a tech head and own so many devices but I've also always been cautious of data harvesting etc, so I must be the only person left to not own a smartphone/tablet as well as the only millennial/GenX to not use Facebook/Instagram/Twitter etc. Well, this week that changed and I bought a galaxy tab s6. I somewhat feel like I betrayed myself but I wanted a newer security device as some things required android/ios and it was a hassle using different devices for things. Anyway, having been so late to the party, I thought well at least now it's all well established and there'd be loads to get...however, after downloading the browsers to choose (Firefox, chrome, opera, duck duck go etc) most do not have any addons/extensions/plugins, at least that I can find, with firefox leading at a whopping 18... Am I missing something? My inexperience with android leaves me hoping I'm just lost, and there's somewhere out there a browser with thousands of extensions. | How to disable these features in Chrome Posted: 02 Sep 2021 07:04 PM PDT There's this new drawer looking popup thing that tries to get you to install the app version of a product when you go to the web version. I think this might just be twitter right now, it's similar to what some pages like reddit do- which is still annoying, but at least in that case it looks less invasive & shuts up for a while after the first time I dismiss it. This new one pops up 100% of the time when I load the page and I have to swipe it away, it's super annoying. Wondering if anyone knows how to disable this? [link] [comments] |
