Posted: 09 May 2021 09:49 AM PDT The device Oneplus 6t Running android 10 (Oxygen os 10.3.9) Carrier is T-mobile if that matters The Bluetooth Devices Jaybird Vista (Which worked before the reset) JBL Clip 3 (Which worked before the reset) 2015 Ford Fiesta sync (which worked before the reset) Recently my friends GMC truck's system but that was only after the reset but im guessing it would have worked before too The overall problem I factory reset my phone recently and now my bluetooth isnt working correctly. I can pause through bluetooth devices but not play (recently I noticed i cant even pause with my vista earbuds) , I can skip and reverse tracks as well. On my car (and my friends GMC) it only showed what was playing at the time of the app booting while connected to the device. Heres what ive tried Turning off wi-fi calling worked temporarily Turning off dev options worked temporarily Changing the Bluetooth ACVRP version from 1.4 to 1.6 (i saw someone said it worked, it didnt do anything for me) Clearing the cache and stored data and then restarting the phone worked temporarily [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 May 2021 09:25 AM PDT Hello guys A friend needs to restart her bricked Mi Android phone without losing data. We found an online guide on how to do it but it's too complicated for us. Do you know any mobile repair shops in India that can do it? Or a easy to follow guide for laypeople? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |

How can I recover a TWRP recovery? Posted: 09 May 2021 11:32 AM PDT Hey everyone, I have a TWRP recovery I'm trying to recover with. It's a TWRP recovery for a sprint S5, I have the same model phone, just completely unrooted/unmodified. I'm having a hard time rooting with ODIN (buying a legit samsung cable, thinking thats the issue..). Is there anyway I can access and recover with my TWRP file without rooting with ODIN at this point or no? I'm a bit confused how I would go about doing this. [link] [comments] |
Cannot fix crashing apps Despite trying webview and chrome steps Posted: 09 May 2021 11:24 AM PDT Is anyone else still facing the app crashing issue that surfaced about a month ago due to the Webview update? I'm completely stumped and this just started on my phone (Galaxy S10 running Android 11) a few days ago. Pretty much all of my apps will crash and close after about a minute of use. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps I've seen and have read about 50 different Reddit threads. Here is the post on this sub from a month ago. Most people have said that uninstalling updates for Webview or Chrome or downloading the latest version of those apps have fixed it for them, but neither work for me. I've tried: * Uninstalling updates for Webview in the app settings and via the Play store * Uninstalling updates for Chrome in the app settings and via the Play store * Disable either Webview or Chrome while the other is enabled. Also disabled both at same time. I'm at my wits end and my phone is practically unusable with this going on. Anyone else in this same boat or have any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 09 May 2021 10:43 AM PDT Hello everyone, im torn between these two phones i wanted them basically for their huge battery but i have heard some mixed reviews on how the SoC of F62 is bad and drains battery while both phones have 7000mah, and im kinda hesitated to get M51 bc it has OneUI core instead of full so its missing basic android features, if anyone have any of both phones, which one would you recommend? Posted: 09 May 2021 10:35 AM PDT Some messages are not sent on Whatsapp (stuck on grey clock icon). After closing and opening the application the messages are immediately sent. Today, I enabled "Allow individual apps to switch" feature in settings that switches to mobile network if there is a WiFi problem. After 2-3 hours later I got a notification with "WhatsApp is using mobile data because the current Wi-Fi network is blocking it or there's a connection problem." message. After seeing this notification I sent a messages to friends and grey clock icon appears about 10-15 seconds than messages are sent. My device is Samsung S20 Plus with latest Android 11 update. Are there anyone with the same problem? [link] [comments] |
Swapping from iOS to Android what else do I need to cover? Posted: 09 May 2021 10:24 AM PDT After a long hiatus from Android (HTC One M8 being the last Android i owned) I've decided to swap out my iPhone 11 Pro for the new S21 Ultra and I could use some advice about certain aspects of the switch. Q1. Am I missing anything important in what I've already sorted ready for the swap: - Moved contacts to Google, Uploaded all pictures/videos to OneDrive, Checked compatible apps (GoodNotes not available on Android but other apps available), swapped Apple Watch for Galaxy Watch. Q2. Is there a way for me to still share fitness satay with Apple Health/Fitness as I have a lot of friends who share their fitness tracking with me and we regularly compete against each other. Q3. Am I missing any other glaring issues or things I need to consider before making the swap? ** Already aware I need to turn of iMessage and other iCloud services in iOS ** [link] [comments] |
Redmi note 9s brightness stuck at low Posted: 09 May 2021 06:21 AM PDT I have asked this in redmi sub but couldnt get an answer. I have a redmi note 9s, occasionally the screen will turn dull on it's own and sliding the brightness up pass certain point like (30%) doesnt increase the actual brightness. I do not have auto brightness/sunlight/night mode activated. Toggling them on/off doesnt solve the issue. I noticed when i press the volume button it started to return to original brightness but i cant be sure it was the solution or just coincidence. I do not have battery saving on the screen activated and my battery is over 90%. [link] [comments] |

Headspace suddenly consuming battery when not in use for weeks Posted: 09 May 2021 08:52 AM PDT My phone battery is draining a lot faster over the last few days. I just got a mi band and set it up for constant heart monitoring ad assumed that was eating battery. But when I just went and checked my battery usage it shows the headspace app has used 5% of my battery. I haven't opened that app in weeks. Anyone know what is happening? [link] [comments] |

Having issues with a Samsung Tab E that is running on Andriod version 7.1.1 Posted: 09 May 2021 08:27 AM PDT Hello! Is there any simple way to remove google play services? I'd prefer a way that involves rooting it because I'm trying to do the simple methods like uninstalling updates from google play services and it, or use adb to uninstall, but it won't work. I keep getting the message "Google Play services keeps stopping" over and over and have no idea how to fix it. I don't have the option to clear cache or wipe it to factory default. It's really painful and I need some help, thanks! Also sorry if my wording is bad [link] [comments] |
Using android phone as access point, and accessing that WiFi network with the same device? Posted: 09 May 2021 08:19 AM PDT I couldn't Google an answer to this, so hope you can help me. If I use my phone as a router, generering a wifi network, can I access that same wifi network on my phone? For instance I want to use chromecast from my phone to my TV, is this possible when I'm using that same phone as an access point? I assume my phone's wifi is turned off when it is an access point, but can't figure out if it would be able to access the network it is creating? Thank you [link] [comments] |
How can I keep my samsung s6 lite tablet from going to sleep? Posted: 09 May 2021 07:59 AM PDT I'm ok with the screen sleeping but I don't want the device to sleep. Reason being is that my alexa app doesn't seem to be able to give voice announcements when the device is asleep (only ringtone alerts). How can I keep my device awake? I'm willing to keep it plugged in if need be though prefer to be able to do this unplugged as well. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 09 May 2021 07:55 AM PDT Hello, there is a problem with a microphone or recording something. After recording video or audio on the recorder, a sound similar to the sound of a buzzing or some kind of zzzzzzzzz is heard (only while silent). When recording in complete silence, the recorder shows an almost flat track, but a ringing is heard when listening. But when talking on the phone, there is no problem at all, the sound is clear. This problem is only with the recording. Help please. What should I do?? [link] [comments] |
