    Can't use button mapper on my android tv

    I have android tv and my tv is a procaster (can't remember the model name) and i want to use this app called button mapper, but the app requires that i enable the app in accessibility settings, but i can't find the app there, so i can't enable it, what should i do?

    Am I the only one who doesn't like the new google TV UI ?

    I personally feel overwhelmed by the amount of information it shows and filled with random unnecessary reccomedations. For context i have not tried it yet, but looking at reviews online it kinds gives me a reason not to buy the new Chromecast.

    I highly prefer the android oreo UI thats gives you your main apps at glance while also mantaining some reccomedations from other apps. Keeping a balance.

    Again, my opinion may change once I try it, but if anyone of you have used it, please tell me how is it and how did the transition felt like to the new UI from the old one ? Lemme know.

    Apple TV app on GoogleTV - cannot log in

    I've just bought Sony A90J with GoogleTV and everything is perfect, except for Apple TV app, which I can't log into. When I open the app and choose to log in it doesn't work. If I choose to log in using mobile device it jus tells me after 2-3 seconds that there was a problem and I should try later (there is no code, QR generated - just this message). When I try to log in by typing password manually using TV remote it "loads" for about a minute and then tells me it's unable to log in. App has been updated to the newest version, TV OS and firmware as well. I am unable to delete the Apple TV app to reinstal it, I can only "Disable" the app.
    Do you know of any solutions to this?

    Remove only "Google Play Movies & TV" from Google TV

    Hello, as the title said, I want to remove just "Google Play Movies & TV", not all the other apps. I know about app only mode, but this is not useful because it removes everything.

    Is there an official or alternative (sideloading) way of doing that?

    Play Random Shows from "playlist"

    I use Chromecast with Google TV as my streamer device. (I prefer it over Firestick)

    I'm trying to accomplish something, and not sure if its even possible. I would like to create a "playlist" of TV shows for example; (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Friends, Cheers, Family Guy, etc) assuming I'm subscribed to the services that hosts the shows. I would like to be able to play random episodes of the shows in the playlist, like 1 random show of Happy Days, then 1 from Laverne & Shirley etc

    Kind of creating a "night of TV" from back in the day in how it used to be, but with new technology.

    Any ideas?

    Continue watching doesn't work?

    The Continue Watching function on my CCwGTV doesn't seem to refresh. Is there a way to refresh it? I have restarted several times and also deleted the cache on any system app that seemed a possibility, though I don't know what app actually controls that. Any help appreciated.

    When it came time to buy a fancy new big TV for the living room I waffled between a Roku TV and a Sony with Google TV. I have a couple of other Roku TVs and love them but decided the Google TV would be better, have more features, and would work better w PS5. That a HUGE MISTAKE.

    Over several months now I've not once been able to get Amazon Prime app to play video. The Disney app is hit and miss with inconsistent log in issues. NBA TV sometimes works and sometimes doesn't and even when it does it doesn't do things like FFW and RWD well at all.

    I ended up having to buy an external Roku device and use that when the apps fail on Google TV which is all too often.

    I don't know or really care who's fault it is. All I know is the same app will work perfectly on Roku and not on Google and I'm pretty damn tired of it.

    SmartYouTubeTV - Audio lag on Lite Player?

    I used SmartYouTubeTV on my Amazon 4k Fire Stick, using the Lite Main player, and it worked flawlessly.

    I just installed it on my new Tivo Stream 4k, and using the Lite Main player, I get a fraction of a second audio delay so the audio does not sync up with the video

    If I use the Pro Main player it seems to fix the issue but that player has other issues and is slower.

    Anyone know why the Lite Main player would develop an audio skip on one device but not another? I used the same apk sideloaded the same way on both devices with identical settings.

    Audio through Android TV and Google Home mini speakers

    I just bought a new Android TV and I have a couple of google home minis I use as smart speakers in my room. Is there any way I can use the minis like additional speakers to my TV? I'm hoping for something like a home theatre experience.

    Do you think Android TV will also be affected by this decision in a not so distant future?

    It is already gone from Google TV and replaced with access to Play Store video purchases directly through the interface and on YouTube.

    Does any TV's have Proxy Auto Config?

    I'm looking for a Android TV or a Box that has this VPN feature I prefer it being an actual TV.

    This feature is usually shown on Android when you go to connect to a WiFi connection, under advanced settings then "proxy" and then "Proxy Auto Config"

    If one of y'all's TV's has this feature please tell me!

    Hello. I am on Mi Box S latest firmware. So recently, YouTube's widget is not updating recommended section. I have even tried reflash firmware a zillion times and still YouTube recommended widget is not working. I fact, subscription widget is also not available. The rest of the box working
