| Android TV as Selfservice Kiosksystem Posted: 21 Apr 2021 01:14 AM PDT Does anybody has experience of using an android tv box as self service kiosk like we know already from MC Donald's? I already tried an raspberry pi 4, but it is kind of laggy and the terminal sdk supports only android. [link] [comments] | ||
| Can someone please suggest me some good local multiplayer/ split screen games?? Posted: 21 Apr 2021 01:02 AM PDT I have a MI Box 4k (indian unit of MI Box S) and i have the remote and a spare controller, so please suggest accordingly. Currently I am obsessed with BB Racing (Premium), Riptide GP2, Badland (Premium) and Death Road To Canada. If you have some suggestions for single player games for my controller, that would be helpful too but please specify the type and requirement. Thank you! [link] [comments] | ||
| Suddendly static sound over audio (All app's) Posted: 20 Apr 2021 11:47 PM PDT Hello everybody, I have an Nvidia Shield (2019) on my Philips AndroidTV. I got the Shield becaurse my TV can't play 4k movies. After I got the first Shield, I got static sound when playing stuff on the Shield. It comes periodic and can often be forced by playing somthing on one app, and switch to another app. when starts playing some media the static sound is there. I started to buy and switch HDMI cables, trying all the HDMI ports on the TV, resetting the TV and Shield, but nothing helped. I setup the Sheild and was hopping the problem was over, buuuuuuuut then the static sound begins again. I startede with new HDMI cabels again, but the static sound comes everyday again. Then I startede to search the "Google" and found out it can be a error between AndroidTV on my TV, and the Shield. All what I can find off fixes I'v tried, but i'v read alot, so I can have missed something. Therefor, is there anyone that got a idea what I can do? Best retards Jacob [link] [comments] | ||
| IPTV-app with Closed captions support? [Chromecast with Google TV] Posted: 20 Apr 2021 12:33 PM PDT Looking for an IPTV-app with CC support so I can watch American channels with subtitles. I understand it depends on the provider whether you can have CC, but are there any apps with support for CC? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments] | ||

| Downloaded apps have a weird sizing on my Android TV Posted: 20 Apr 2021 04:19 PM PDT I'm trying to install some apps on my TV. I download them using the Downloader app (From Google Play) and then once I install them and open any of them, the app launches but it doesn't take up all the screen size, it only take a vertical bar from the TV resolution and that would be it. I tried with many other apks (APKPure, Github...) I get the same issue, the app launches and seems to work fine when I try to navigate it "blindly" but the resolution is always off. Does anyone have any solution to this to make the sideloaded app take full resolution of the TV instead of just ~20% of it. PS: I even reset the TV but still same issue [link] [comments] |
