| Posted: 17 Feb 2020 11:32 AM PST I can't stop obsessing over my battery percentage and I keep checking my percentage every 30-40 seconds. I constantly keep measuring how long it lasts, how long it takes to drop by one percent. I keep thinking - am I going to need to replace my battery? is something wrong? This seriously affects me as I have severe anxiety issues. Should I just disable my battery percentage icon in the status bar? I don't know what to do. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 16 Feb 2020 10:46 PM PST My little one cursed my phone. My Android phone now has a screen overlaying the primary screen which mirrors the entire screen. I can move it and shrink or enlarge it, but I can't close it. It overlaps any apps I open also. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, also it is present on the lock screen. It is gone when I'm in safe mode, but comes back immediately when out of safe mode.i have tried powering off and on and it comes back still. [link] [comments] |

| My phone refuses to recognize my music files and I can't figure out how to fix it. Posted: 17 Feb 2020 10:33 AM PST https://i.imgur.com/puUqfTd.png No matter what I do, I can't play anything from my on-device music collection. Phonograph and Shuttle+ can both see the files and both have the proper folder set as the home directory, but ask either of them to play a song and they do nothing. I was going to try taking the files out of their Album folders and leaving all of an artists songs in one folder, hoping that removing one layer of folders would fix things, but now the problem is that I can't seem to do that. The screenshot above shows how I've always kept my collection. Artist folders containing album folders containing files. It's worked for every computer (phones included) I've ever had until now. If I have to alter that for this phone, I can live with that but when I try to move a song file from its album folder to anywhere else using the Android File Transfer app, nothing happens. It's as if I don't have permission to do anything other than create new folders and delete things. This hasn't been an issue in the past so this new problem is preventing me from diagnosing the problem that brought me here in the first place. Please help. [link] [comments] |

Not sure I'll stay with Verizon; T-Mobile is cheaper and has widely available 5G. My question: If I buy an unlocked S20, do I lose anything with not going with a Verizon model? Sometimes when receiving messages on Facebook Messenger my Galaxy S10+ makes a click sound and then shortly after the default messenger tone then goes off... does anyone know how to stop this or why it happens? | Power Button Not Working on Samsung Tab 4 Posted: 17 Feb 2020 01:12 PM PST So I feel asleep with my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T530 model) turned on and the power button on this tablet has not been working at all for the past few months which means I can't turn it on anymore. I tried volume down/up + home button while on the charger but it doesn't work Is there anything perhaps on the backside of the tablet, like a emergency reset button of some sort, that I can press to turn it on or will I have to order a new power button and try to put it on myself? | Replaced a broken screen and the touch stopped working a day later Posted: 17 Feb 2020 11:53 AM PST Title Got a new screen for a Samnsung J8, even though it wasn't Samsung issued the screen was backed by a trusty phone repair company where in my country and the screen was good quality but a day later the battery drained and when the phone turned back on the touch wasn't responding. took it back to the pair guy and told me the screen was low quality (the repair guy wasn't associated with the aforementioned company) and said tha he could use a better quality screen and he would charge me the same amount that I paid for the other one. is there a fix or should I buy a new screen again?
